Firstly, for those who have never had the pleasure of watching Eurovision, you may have heard many a rumour. Below is a taste of what to expect from the show itself.<\/p>\n
(Note: If you are a Eurovision regular, feel free to skip this section and head to the \u2018Drinking game rules\u2019)<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/strong>The \u2018Eurovision Song Contest\u2019 AKA \u2018Eurovision\u2019 is an annual multicultural entertainment extravaganza. Here\u2019s the gist of what to expect…<\/p>\n (Note: This is where the\u00a0main bulk of the drinking occurs)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n (Note: If you still have some drink left, you can also make this into a drinking game)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n So, now you know what to expect from the show you\u2019re hopefully feeling quite thirsty?!<\/p>\n Note:<\/strong> Please drink responsibly and know your limits. Eurovision is a long, crazy show, so there is a strong likelihood that you will be drinking often! We therefore recommend playing with a beverage that doesn\u2019t contain a strong amount of alcohol.<\/p>\n There are 42 countries competing. Each player must select 2 nations at random. The ideal way to do this is by writing down the competing nations and picking them out of a hat\/bowl\/saucepan without looking. But if this is too much effort for you, just pick 2 of your choice! (Tip: It is beneficial to pick the countries that you think may score highly!)<\/p>\n Support your countries<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n When your nation is singing, stand up with your hand on your heart for the entire performance. Once they have finished singing, shout the name of your beautiful nation and drink 2 fingers<\/strong><\/span> out of respect for their epic performance.<\/p>\n \u00a0 <\/p>\n 1. Fireworks, flames, smoke or dry-ice<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 2. Aggressive violin playing<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 3. Emotionally singing on knees<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 4. Backing dancers wearing very limited clothing<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 5. Acrobatics\/circus performers<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 6. Performer wearing all white<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 7. Man bun<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 8. Onstage magic<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 9. Any lyrics referring to weather<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 10. Dangerously tight leather trousers<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n 1. Any native instrument or instrument that you cannot identify<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 2. Oversized furniture on stage<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 3. Martial arts<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 4.\u00a0<\/span>Any form of opera<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 5. Shocking headgear\/oversized hats<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Each country will take turns to reveal how their nation voted.<\/p>\n If your selected nation is awarded the maximum 12 points, it\u2019s your lucky day!<\/p>\n Nominate<\/span> someone to drink 3 fingers<\/span><\/p>\n (Note: You can give all 3 to one unlucky victim OR you can also pick 3 separate friends to drink 1 finger each!)<\/p>\n If your selected nation gets 10 points, give out 2 fingers<\/span>.<\/p>\n If your selected nation gets 8 points, give out 1 finger<\/span>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n However, if your selected nation is awarded LESS than 4 points<\/strong>, YOU drink 1 finger<\/span>!<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n At the end of the of the results, whoever has the highest score must do a shot with the person who has the lowest score!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n 2.
