Man denke an Brunnen, Sanit\u00e4rsysteme und Hygieneaufkl\u00e4rung in L\u00e4ndern wie Uganda, Nepal und S\u00fcdafrika.<\/p>\n<p>Wir haben uns mit <strong>Moritz Wrubel<\/strong>, dem Mitbegr\u00fcnder der Villa Viva in Kapstadt, unterhalten, um mehr dar\u00fcber zu erfahren, wie sie ein Hostel schaffen, das Menschen unter einer gro\u00dfen Idee vereint: \u201eWasser f\u00fcr alle \u2013 alle f\u00fcr Wasser!\u201c<\/p>\n<p>\u201eViva con Agua war schon immer der \u00dcberzeugung, dass soziales Engagement etwas Freudvolles und Offenes sein sollte. Die Idee hinter dem Hostel war es, einen Ort zu schaffen, an dem dies jeden Tag zum Leben erwacht\u201c, erz\u00e4hlt Moritz.<\/p>\n<p>Der Gro\u00dfteil der Gewinne flie\u00dft direkt in die Trinkwasserprojekte von Viva con Agua. Aber was ist das wirklich Besondere daran? Hier wird es dir bestimmt nicht langweilig \u2013 schau dir einfach an, was die Villa Viva zu bieten hat:<\/p>\n<p>Innenh\u00f6fe, Gemeinschaftsr\u00e4ume, ein Pool mit Blick auf den Tafelberg, eine Bar, eine Medienecke und ein Raum f\u00fcr K\u00fcnstler \u2013 es f\u00fchlt sich wirklich wie ein kleines Dorf an. Jedes Zimmer ist nach Freiheitsk\u00e4mpfern, Musikern, K\u00fcnstlern oder Aktivisten benannt und mit B\u00fcchern, Bildern und Informationen zu deren Geschichte dekoriert.<\/p>\n<p>Auch in Sachen \u00f6kologischer Nachhaltigkeit l\u00e4sst die Villa Viva Taten sprechen. Sonnenkollektoren versorgen das Hostel mit Strom. Ein nat\u00fcrlicher Quell liefert einen Gro\u00dfteil des Wassers. Kaffee mit einem Fremden, der f\u00fcr den Tag zu deinem Wanderpartner wird. Am Nachmittag veranstaltet jemand einen Malworkshop, und am Abend bist du bei einem Braai mit Reisenden, Einheimischen und Musikern, die sich vielleicht erst kennengelernt haben, als der Grill angez\u00fcndet wurde.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eUnsere G\u00e4ste scheinen alle denselben Drang nach Verbindung zu teilen\u201c, sagt Moritz. Reisende, K\u00fcnstler, NGO-Partner, digitale Nomaden und neugierige Einheimische treffen sich alle in der Villa Viva.<\/p>\n<p>Moritz erz\u00e4hlt, dass eine Gastin f\u00fcr einen Kurztrip nach Kapstadt gekommen war, um ein bisschen Sonne zu tanken und zu wandern. \u201eEines Abends beim Abendessen traf sie eine Gruppe von Freiwilligen von Viva con Agua, die ein Kunstprojekt in einem \u00f6rtlichen Township vorbereiteten.
