You\u2019ll be greeted by a bunch of charming, multi-lingual staff, an outdoor kitchen and rows of multi-coloured cabins, caravans and dorms. Home sweet home \ud83d\ude42<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/J4fwYSZ.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1400\" height=\"920\" \/><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/D79zbSC.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1400\" height=\"929\" \/><br \/>\nCity explorers need not despair, the hostel provides a free to-and-from shuttle service to Holendrecht Metro station and from there it\u2019s only a \u20ac2.90 train journey in to Amsterdam city centre. The sweetest part is that you get to return to your own humble abode with a spacious garden, and a glorious lake to dip your feet in with a cold beer. All about that country lyfe!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/xTBsAXa.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1400\" height=\"929\" \/><br \/>\nWe know what you\u2019re thinking\u2026WTF (where\u2019s the food)?! Well, there is a shop on site for daily essentials and evenings are all about rustling up your own chargrilled feast on one of the hostel\u2019s BBQs with a sprinkling of fresh herbs from the \u201cpit\u201d. To top it all off, there is free coffee &amp; tea on tap all day errry day AND a free breakfast which includes eggs, pancakes or poffertjes! Curiouser and curiouser\u2026<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/3SperAD.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1400\" height=\"929\" \/><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/EHYqVi4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1400\" height=\"868\" \/><br \/>\n\u2018Aint no room for boredom here with activities ranging from kayaking, bike rides to the local farmers market to after-hours skinny dipping in the lake. For those who are fond of the herb there\u2019s a special smoking room, and who wouldn\u2019t want to chill in \u201cthe smallest cinema caravan in the world\u201d?!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/6tJqStd.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1400\" height=\"929\" \/><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/YI2OgyT.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1400\" height=\"929\" \/><br \/>\nIf the flamingos, pink hippo sculptures and real-life quacking ducks aren\u2019t enough to persuade you, we don\u2019t know what will. Oh wait, our customers might have a thing or two to add\u2026<br \/>\n<em>\u201cIt was SO nice to stay here, away from the city, but still plenty easy to get into the city &#8211; the best of both worlds. I would stay here again without a doubt.\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u00a0\u201cSuch an awesome hostel! Cute, funky rooms, which are super clean. Comfy beds, clean bathrooms. Such an awesome chilled atmosphere here, and the staff are amazing, they even redirected some mail for us! There&#8217;s a free shuttle to the station too! Do yourself a favour and stay here if your coming to Amsterdam.\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u00a0\u201cThis place is absolutely amazing. Beautiful location, met some fantastic people, awesome outdoor kitchen. It&#8217;s everything you could ever want. So sad we only stayed for two nights. Stay at Lucky Lake!\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201cA beautiful and unique hostel. It was so nice to have a base outside of the busy Amsterdam! The caravans and cabins were lovely and the whole place was quirky and memorable.
