Sometimes you just need to pause, put your feet up and recharge your weary soul, and there is no better place to do that than the incredible <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hostelworld.com\/hosteldetails.php\/El-Jardin-de-Frida\/Tulum\/53382\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"post links\">El Jardin de Frida<\/a> hostel. The whole place is just brimming with magic, art, culture, and some seriously chilled vibes. They don\u2019t just care about you; they also strive to care for the environment around them, with 80% of their power coming from solar panels, and a biodigester taking care of the erm\u2026waste \ud83d\ude09 The staff at this \u201cEco-Cultural Poshtel\u201d are all about 3 things that we all could do with a lot more of: Sleeping, learning and healing.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"post-image-placeholder\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/nDwHs8q.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Sleeping<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Let\u2019s face it, the last thing you want during an epic jungle trek is to be exhausted because you couldn\u2019t sleep the night before. El Jardin de Frida have got you covered, with their comfy beds and spacious rooms. But part of what makes staying here extra special, is the care and detail the staff have put into creating a peaceful atmosphere within its private rooms. The solo rooms (complete with private bathrooms) are all themed around various aspects of Mexican culture and folklore, and come with a balcony overlooking the jungle below. The even swankier suites have their own kitchens, living rooms and private terrace!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"post-image-placeholder\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/uE3Ngly.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Learning<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>We travel to expand our minds and experience new adventures, and you\u2019ll certainly be able to do that at El Jardin de Frida. First of all, there\u2019s a library. An actual library! Where have you seen that before?! In the surrounding neighbourhood you\u2019ll find the Chac Mool and Meztli language schools where you can brush up on your Spanish and Maya skills \u2013 perfect for blending in with the locals \ud83d\ude09 The hostel also has a luscious botanical garden, where you can learn about local flora like the sacred Mayan tree.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"post-image-placeholder\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/1iCyF2j.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Healing<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El Jardin de Frida takes the concept of nourishing your body and soul very seriously. Everything about this place is designed to help you release any negative energy that may be weighing you down, and reaffirm your inner adventurer. There\u2019s a soothing hammock area \u2013 perfect for revitalising your tired bones, and the peaceful sounds of the surrounding singing birds will melt away any inner stress. The hostel also wants to nourish your morale, with their Cantina Tropical bar that actually serves some healthy options (seriously!) and the local restaurants are to die for.<br \/>\nBut don\u2019t just take our word for it! Here\u2019s what guests have said:<br \/>\n<em>\u201cThis was a lovely peaceful hostel but also has a lot of common areas to meet other travelers. The huge kitchen was awesome for cooking family style dinners for the hostel. Would definitely stay here again as the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Btw the breakfast served here is so delicious.\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201cThis hostel was fantastic! The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The common areas had a good vibe and the bar was great. We had a private double room and it was more like a little apartment with a balcony and kitchen. I am planning to stay there again when I return to Tulum. Regarding the location, it&#8217;s a really quick walk to the center of town. We were two women and felt completely safe walking back to the hostel late at night. And the beach is easily accessible with a bike.\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201cBy far one of the most amazing hostel&#8217;s I&#8217;ve every stayed in.
