Tucked away in the the thriving Chinatown district is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hostelworld.com\/hosteldetails.php\/Reggae-Mansion-Kuala-Lumpur\/Kuala-Lumpur\/52782\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"post links\">Reggae Mansion<\/a>, a colonial three story &#8211; you guessed it &#8211; mansion! And P.S don\u2019t be alarmed if you see the odd monkey scamper across the streets in Asia\u2019s green capital!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/eZUe10N.jpg\" width=\"1400\" height=\"933\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/tJxnmG1.jpg\" width=\"1400\" height=\"933\" \/><br \/>\nA hybrid between a hotel and a hostel, Reggae Mansion provides the social feels with the added luxurious perks that a SE Asia traveller craves &#8211; air conditioning, free shampoo\/shower gel, linen, blanket and towel. You\u2019ll be feeling fresh as can be \ud83d\ude42<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/4pOjxC8.jpg\" width=\"1400\" height=\"787\" \/><br \/>\nReggae Mansion is in the heart of the glittering metropolis and just so happens to have a swanky rooftop bar overlooking the Twin Towers and KL Tower. These guys know how to throw one helluva party, and a Cuban mojito with the backdrop of the tallest towers in the world ain&#8217;t too bad for a hostel with beds from \u00a39\/\u20ac10\/$12 per night!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/XbFnYDd.jpg\" width=\"1400\" height=\"933\" \/><br \/>\nWith KL being renowned for its food, Reggae provides free dinners every night and a chef\u2019s speciality Malaysian BBQ on the rooftop. Ooo la la! A party hostel that is classier than the rest obviously comes with a 40-seat cinema room, and they make sure there is no shortage of privacy for your down time.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/ZB7ShbL.jpg\" width=\"1400\" height=\"787\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/vI8R4wt.jpg\" width=\"1400\" height=\"933\" \/><br \/>\nChill in the numerous lounge areas and dorm rooms are made up of futuristic pod beds, equipped with privacy curtains, a locker, mirrored cupboards (genius), light &amp; plugs. Tip: if you are after a real treat, upgrade to a superior private for \u00a322\/\u20ac28\/$31 per night which comes with a safety deposit box and LCD TV with cable.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/EloARJ2.jpg\" width=\"1400\" height=\"933\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/QnBrwmi.jpg\" width=\"1400\" height=\"933\" \/><br \/>\nWith Chinatown as your backyard, there are exotic night markets aplenty and cheap street food served in banana leaves is mandatory. The 400 million years old Batu caves down the road and restive art scene will keep you busy, so make sure you pick a customer rated hostel to rest that weary head\u2026<br \/>\n<em>\u201c<\/em><em>Definitely secure with key pass at every door&#8230; Rooftop bar was really cool&#8230; Big dorm was awesome, each bed was its own double bed pod with a light, charger, counter, curtain etc.. Location was great near the skytrain. Definitely the best spot in kl<\/em><em>\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201c<\/em><em>Absolutely fantastic hostel great beds great atmosphere great staff brilliantly located<\/em><em>\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201c<\/em><em>Best hostel I<\/em><em>\u2019<\/em><em>ve stayed at in south east Asia and I<\/em><em>\u2019<\/em><em>ve been here 6 months. Wanna tip &#8211; stay in the 24 bed room.<\/em><em>\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201c<\/em><em>Amazing atmosphere at the rooftop bar and even better staff. Rooms cleaned daily as are the bathrooms. Free dinners every night are of a great standard. Can&#8217;t say enough how friendly the staff are, they are all truly lovely. Would recommend this hostel to everyone.<\/em><em>\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201c<\/em><em>Pod-style beds were very comfortable and gave lots of privacy, locked cabinets under the bed (bring your own lock!) Bathrooms were plentiful, super clean and single-room style. Reception staff was really helpful planning out travel and giving suggestions. Room rate also includes free dinner. Party on the roof is good for meeting people, but it&#8217;s not so loud that you can&#8217;t sleep if you want to.
