Het is een gebied dat vroeger bezaaid was met bordelen en gokhuizen waar zeelieden naartoe gingen voor een avondje plezier na de zware maanden op zee. Door de jaren heen is het echter omgetoverd tot een van de meest levendige nachtlocaties in Lissabon met burleske shows, live concerten, tapas- en cocktailbars waar drankjes met de naam &#8220;Chique Hoeren&#8221; worden geserveerd!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Je moet naar Mercado da Ribeira, de belangrijkste levensmiddelenmarkt van Lissabon sinds 1892. In 2014 werd het overgenomen door het tijdschrift Time Out Lisboa die er kraampjes met eten en traditionele lokale producten aan toevoegde.
