The view from this hostel is insane. It’s so calm and peaceful and a really nice place to just relax and feel good. The owner is so nice and does everything he can to help you. Loved this hostel so much!! However it’s a long walk to Ella town and the tuk tuks doesn’t want to drive so far up in the mountains. If you want to be close to town you shouldn’t stay here.

We had a great time. The hostel was a bit quiet but if that’s what you’re after then it’s perfect. You are right beside the entrance of Ella rock which is ideal. We had our own tuk tuk so it was easier to get in and out of the town but the hostel organises transport or your can walk on the train tracks to the centre. It may be far away for some people but the views and area is lovely. The train also passes by the hostel which is cool and the food is good too.

my best experience in sri lanka. staff were extremely friendly and helpful. athmosphere was outstanding it was easy to connect people and had the opportunity to hang out together both on dinner nights and going outs. building is very interesting and neighborhood is perfectly suitable for relaxing. altough it was a bit far away from Ella in my opinion it only added to the value. highly recommended, very satisfied
