Whilst I did visit in the off season, there was no atmosphere here at all. The room wasn't clean and there was no hot water. Even though the place was open and taking bookings, when we enquired about breakfast we were told the restaurant was closed due to being out of season. I feel this is something that should be disclosed beforehand. The photos are misleading, and it is overpriced for what you get. Security wise it felt very safe though. Staff were helpful too.

Best hostel, I have been so far in Srilanka! The staff is very kind and helpful! Also there is a Cafe in the hostel, means they always offer food and there is mostly something going on. The hostel is very clean and is very beautiful!

Its a great hostel, 24/7 security at the entrance, we were in the hostel building but we suspect there are other kinds of stays possible? Staff was super friendly and even accepted us without a booking at 3AM. There is absolutely no vibe in the hostel (unless in your room) because the biggest party hostel is 2meters next to it and everyone just hangs out there even if you don't stay there. Great place to stay here if the neighbours( Long Hostel) is full (and they will).
