Hostal Schilling ligger i byen El Calafate, porten til Glacier National Park og kun 80 km fra Perito Moreno-gletsjeren.

Vi er beliggende i centrum af byen, kun to gader fra hovedgaden.

Hostel is fine and has good and helpful staff. The breakfast is good. We stayed at the double room and here we were missing quite a few things: places to hang towels in the bathroom (there were non), places to put your stuff and bags in the room (there were non) and some more power plugs (on of us had to hang our phone from a charger in a plug that was placed 1,5 meters up in the middle of the wall??

The staff at Hostel Schilling are really friendly and helpful. The location is great, only a short walk to the bars, shops etc and there is free parking. The beds are really comfortable and the garden is a nice place to relax in the sun. The only downside is the noise. The walls are very thin so I could hear the people in the next room talking and the neighbourhood dogs bark throughout the night so not much sleep was had!
