Off Ocean Hostel

The high rating is a LIE, maybe from people at campsite. Far from everything, have to walk along the highway for 30 to the market, or 30 the other direction to get to the beach. No social atmosphere. Kitchen is bug infested. Beds are hard as rocks, no air conditioning, and swarmed by mosquitos/roaches at night. 1 disgusting bathroom shared by 20 ‘volunteers’ and the guests. Toilet is always wet as it is right under shower. Staff are noisy, smoke all day, and odd. BORING-GROSS-TERRIBLE

The hostel is next to the main road, not inside a town, so it is unsafe to walk around to go anywhere. There is a supermarket nearby, and to get to the beach you have to walk 30 minutes though a rural road. The hostel was pretty dirty, the kitchen filled with ants and spiders, not well equiped. The bunk beds were decent, there was only one bathroom and shower that stinked. Overall it a was a decent hostel, but it was far away from any social life, beaches, and walkable towns.

One of the best hostels in Floripa! Really nice volunteers and a good location close to the beach, and the north/south. There are DJ parties sometimes, volleyball matches and different options for different prices but very affordable! Highly recommend :)
