At The Jasper East Hostel, we are surrounded by mountains and nature, we strive to carry that experience indoors. Always keeping planet earth in mind, we began with reusing seacan shipping containers for the structure of our two storey building. We chose stone wool insulation for optimal energy efficiency and noise reduction.

We consider our water here at The Jasper East Hostel a wonder of nature. Not only is our tested water fed by an underground mountain aquifer and then UV filtered, but naturally contains some of the lowest levels of deuterium or heavy hydrogen on the planet.

Our contemporary solo private cocoon rooms give you a delicate balance of being in the forest, while providing all the comforts and necessities of an indoor space. With expansive windows looking onto views of the forest and mountains, our space allows the walls to fall away, and for nature to become part of your stay.

You will experience a different kind of stay at The Jasper East Hostel. A social stay but also a private one. We have 30 rooms, which are all single beds and private, with their own bathroom and shower. Our common kitchens and living area is the perfect place to hang out, cook a meal and play games, then you can retreat to either your HABITAT or NATURE room for a peaceful private sleep.

Jasper East Hostel Policy and Conditions:

All rooms have one single bed and are for one guest only

Cancellation Policy: 3 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check in from 17.00 to 22.00
Check out before 11.00

Credit cards will be changed upon arrival. We do not take cash. Charges will show up as Overlander Mountain Lodge on your statement
Taxes not included - 5.00% + occupancy tax 4.00 % + 3% DMF per person per night
Breakfast not included

General:
The hostel is closed and locked between 11am-5pm daily. You will have no access to rooms or common areas at this time. This is you time to explore the wilderness and the time for us to clean and have a break. All rooms are for one person only .

Check in and multi days stayovers will be allowed to enter between 5pm-10pm. We are sorry we cannot accommodate check ins after 10pm.
