Willkommen im Great Wall Box House, lokalisiert das traditionellste, aber nicht touristische chinesische Dorf-Gubeikou, 120 km nach Peking. Es ist ein 100-jähriges SI-He-Yuan-Haus unter dem Berg, die Ostseite des Hauses ist ein Teil der großen Mauer. Unser Haus befindet sich also auf dem Land, nicht in der Innenstadt von Peking.

Perfect Hostel to see the Great Wall. The lady managing the place cooks really nice and helps you to find a good track for the wall. You will most likely find other people doing the hike! Bonus: cats

We stayed for two nights and it was fantastic! Even if the price is rather high, it's worth it to be here. From the hostel you can walk directly to the wall and if you're lucky you'll get an incredibly good dinner at the hostel - she's a very good cook!

This hostel is really amazing! I felt comfortable right the second I walked in. The location is perfect for hiking, I would recommend staying 2 nights. The host is absolutely amazing and helps you with everything! She is also a great cook and makes you breakfast and dinner for a really good price. I loved the common area, so cozy. Would definitely come back!! Take the train from Beijingbei (North Railway Station/ Metro: Xizhi Men) to Gubeikou, the host can organise a pick up from the station
