Olive Spring is a female-only hostel located in the heart of Georgetown's heritage zone. Surrounded by all the sights of Georgetown by day, and right in the middle of all the hawker stalls, food courts and bars by night, you couldn't ask for a better location in the whole of Penang.

We started out as a cafe called Mugshot Cafe, now we offer beds on the upper floor for accommodation. The hostel is new to our establishment, we have just started taking bookings in from May 2018. The entrance is via the cafe downstairs which operates daily from 8am till 12am.

We are also connected to a bakery next door, do not be surprised by the smell of freshly baked breads early in the morning.

We use a lot of wood within the cafe and dorms, which gives it a more warm look along with an air well in the center and back of the property for ventilation and natural light.

***Property Policies & Conditions:
1. Cancellation policy : At least 2 days advance notice for free cancellation.
2. Check in from 2pm to 10pm and check out before 12noon.
3. Payment of the balance upon arrival by cash only.
4. All of our rooms are non-smoking.
5. We do not allow pets.
6. Reception working hours: 8am to 10pm.
