I booked and received a confirmation for a superior room via hostelworld. When we arrived at Rana Roja I was told I had booked a standard room and there were no superior rooms left. The standard room was ugly and very basic and the entire hotel is very run down. I would not go back. I would like to point out that staff was very friendly.

We were in one of the rooms in the main building. Toilet seat was completely broken, curtains didnâ€™t cover the entire window and were really old, bathroom shelf was falling off the wall. The entire room needed a coat of fresh paint. It needs a large scale makeover.

No hot water on The Room. No wifi anywhere but The restaurant. Toilets doesnâ€™t work most if The time. Furniture is Old and not maintained. One of our beds broke during our stay so we had to move to another room. Still problems with toilet although different type of problem, second room had hot water though. The neighboor hotel has a nice pool you Can use and The food is good but often not enough for everyone and Price is not very cheap. No apoligies or anything, so we wouldnâ€™t recommend it.
