Maya Moon Lodge es fácilmente accesible en barco. Los barcos públicos paran en nuestro muelle privado cada 20 minutos.

Great private area of the lake for swimming and lounging in hammocks! Common area was a nice place to lounge. Staff were friendly. Always had hot water and the bathrooms were clean. They also have their own dock so you can get picked up from there. It’s a bit of a walk from the main boat dock in Tzununa so make sure you tell the water taxi driver to drop you off at Maya. The food wasn’t very good and they add on a service charge. This is a great place if you want to lounge by the water all day

The most overpriced hostel I’ve stayed in during five months of traveling. The food was good but charging £7 for an omelet felt excessive. It was also ridiculous to charge £10 for an hour of paddleboard rental when nearby hostels like Free Cerveza offer it for free. The staff were nice, but the atmosphere was nonexistent, and the WiFi was poor. On the plus side, the location was beautiful, and the beds were comfortable.

I am obsessed with Maya Moon. It is such a special, intimate, beautiful space and hostel. I met lifelong friends here, because the atmosphere brings curious, creative, souls together. It is a bit if a walk to San Marcos, but that is what makes it unique and special. It is in it's own little part of the lake, tucked into it's own hillside and cove. I will return one day, I found part of myself here that I didn't know was missing.
