Calala Lodge consists of 8 free standing bungalows amidst a tropical garden right next to the ocean. The palm trees overlook the ocean and beach offering a very tranquil environment to relax and disconnect. Our Restaurant is very popular with locals and visitors alike, both the bar and restaurant are open all day for our guests to enjoy a drink or appetizer next to the pool.

We are located in a small fishing village called Cabuya, very close to the Cabo Blanco Absolute Reserve, 6 km down the road from Montezuma and 8km from Santa Teresa. The perfect location to be near the busy touristy areas and also in connection with nature and the surrounding environment.
We have received guests from all over the world, many from US and Canada, followed closely by Europeans and a array of other nations. Costarricans are also very fond of our corner of the Peninsula!

All bungalows have the bedrooms in the second floor with a balcony overlooking the lush garden and the Ocean behind the vegetation. The high ceilings and wide doors and windows, paired with the fans, and the ocean breeze provides natural ventilation.

Calala Lodge Policy and Condition:

Cancellation Policy: 3 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
