During check-in the receptionist said the payment for the accomodation was already done as my credit card was charged before. They overcharged my CC. The difference can not be the local tax CHF1,90/night. The amount is CHF18. I booked twin room but was given room with bunk beds for four people. It was like travelling back in time. Old, shabby facilities. Fortunatelly I stayed only 2 nights.

We booked the private room with en suite and for the price we paid we expected something a little nicer. You only have tiny face towels unless you pay extra at reception but this was closed when we arrived. There is only one plug by the door. With no air con you must leave the windows open but this makes it very noisy. The best thing was the bed as this is comfy and sheets are nice quality.

If I could give this property a rating of zero I would. The rudest hosts I have ever had at a hostel, immediately started yelling at me as soon as I walked in because of a booking confusion. They also are never there during check in and check out times and they don’t give you the time of day when they are there. The actual hostel itself was very old and worn down. The kitchen was dirty. Not a social hostel at all, they had the common room locked the whole time. I can’t recommend any other option over this h
