If you book a cheap room, you will sleep in the basement. No window, the room was pretty small and it all felt very sad, like the hostel is trying to hide you away from more regal customers. The employees confused my reservation with someone else and almost made me pay twice- thankfully I knew the other person and we managed to fix the mess. Not a hostel for backpackers.

Staff was SO great!!! I let them know I’d be arriving at 2am and they arranged to have someone let me in. They also gave me advice to plan my day trip to Quilotoa and to continue my travels south. They have bag storage, tea and snacks in the common area, some games, and you can hang out after checkout. The rooms were very nice and clean and the bed was really comfortable. Not sure how good the location is relative to Latacunga but it was walking distance (during the day!) to the bus terminal
