What a great place to stay. I lived there for over a month and my fascination with this place was endless. Superb people whose faces I saw for weeks too. Wonderful staff giving friendly help and support in learning English or also instructing and paying attention to a person with higher education level of the superiority of tea spoon over soup spoon to mix his own coffee. Wonderful rooms...bathrooms...garden....AND REMEMBER HEALTH AND SAFETY FIRST ;) That need to be a small things changed ;)

You wouldn’t even know it was a hostel from the outside and it is not going to win prizes for its aesthetic qualities, but the wooden ‘pods’ were cosy and spacious enough and as I had only one quiet neighbour in the room, slept pretty well. A good place if you are about to get a flight from the airport, too, as it is 15mins by bus from opposite the hostel.

    Fabulous

Stayed with a couple of female friends for two nights. Yes, it’s absolutely no frills but I found the majority of staff incredibly lovely! There was one woman who burst into the room accusing us of eating in there (there’s a no eating or drinking policy in the rooms), but the other staff went out of their way to be helpful. The beds are actually really comfy and the quilts and bedding were clean and seemed pretty new. For the money, I think it represents great value and i’d stay again :)

Family run business (always appreciated), it offers nothing more than promised. For its price and location, you won't find any better hostel in Bristol. Located in Bedminster, it's just a 25 minutes nice walk from the city centre, 15 minutes by bus to the airport. Of course, the shared toilets need an urgent clean-up; the area can be a bit dodgy at night; the kitchen's hygiene rating won't win any prize. But the beds are comfy, internet is fast and reliable and the staff friendly. I'd come back.

First of all - The beds were super comfy, warm and they were pod style so you had privacy with plenty of space with a light and a shelf. - It’s the cheapest in Bristol - Staff are friendly - The girls showers were hot and clean - 20-30 min walk to city The bad: - not much space in the dorms if they were full, no lockers - A lot of things just seem to be broken or out of order - Kitchen could do with a clean out - The guys showers are communal - like a prison

The hostel is family run and is as you would expect for the money very basic. Pros Cheapest hostel in Bristol. Bed linen is clean Cons Needs a few repairs and a deep clean Most staff act very unprofessionally - only one seemed to care about the hostel
