Really nice hostel, family run with really nice staff. Ended up sacking off the other hostel booking to go back here because it was so good. Clean, heated floors, full kitchen. home from home

Great little hostel right in the middle of Reykjavik. You just can't get more central than this. Everything was very clean, kitchen well equipped, they even have a dishwasher, which makes things even more comfortable. The beds were basic, but good.

This was an excellent hostel! The location is perfect, very close to the tourist sites in Reykjavik and right across the street from a Bonus grocery store. Management is very friendly and helpful. Security was good. A little expensive, but that's what you get in Reykjavik, haha. My only problem was that it is very small; they do not have a lounge or anything (though they do have a garden, and you can sit in the kitchen), but it's not a problem if you're mostly out during the day.

Had a quick stay here! Self check in was a bit complicated and a bit confusing, but definitely manageable. Nice facilities and spaces. Amazing location, right in the centre of everything.

Great facility and ticks all the boxes. A family owned business, which provides, a clean, cosy vibe. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms and kitchens clean. Family sized kitchen which brings everyone together, but can get busy if more than a handful of people at a time, but would definitely come back. Also location is just off the main strip with close proximity to bars, clubs, and grocery store across the road (but without the noise!) Would recommend!

Very clean - loved the location. Plenty of bathrooms. Comfy bed. Nice kitchen with plenty of utensils. Extremely small kitchen so when others are using, there is no room to do your thing. Also no "hanging out" room/den, so I sat on my bed when I was there.

Converted house missing the basic amenities of a hostel. No lounge or television room. No vending machine for snacks. No reception area in case of issue. Communal areas closing at 11pm non-negotiable. So either you go out, or you go to bed. Apart from a couple of people, not particularly friendly atmosphere. Very steep stairs leading to the main room. Need to be really careful not to trip on those, so it's a health and safety hazard. Fantastic location and very clean, but that's it.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I arrived after a day tour, which was not too late but reception is only open 3 hours in the afternoon. The lockbox did not work, no matter what I did, and I could not get into the hostel. I knocked on the door many times and I called the phone number twice with no answer. I was stranded in a very cold, strange city. I walked around in the cold for an hour trying to find somewhere else to stay and eventually found the local HI, which was more expensive but has 24 hour reception
