Property Description

11th Avenue Hostel provides community-driven accommodation in the heart of Denver, Colorado. We're a quick walk from everything downtown Denver has to offer, and a short drive or train ride to the mountains. We believe that community-driven travel is the best kind of travel, and that you shouldn't have to pay through the nose for a bed you're only going to spend a few hours in. Existing since 1903 (just 16 years after Colorado earned its spot on the map), we've grown up with the city, and we're pretty dang obsessed with her.

Our various no-frills room options and convenient location fit any traveler with any agenda on any budget. We want to provide a memorable, affordable experience for our guests that whispers of the past and dips its toes in the future.

Sunny Denver has a 16.41% tax not included in these prices.
All cancellations must be carried out 48 hours in advance to avoid 1 day late charge penalty.
14 Day maximum stay for all dorm guests. Reservations made for longer than 14 days will not be honored. View House Rules

The location cannot be beat! The staff were great for check-in and even though there was not parking on-site, we were able to park a few blocks away all weekend for free. Really close to restaurants, bars, and downtown which made walking everywhere really convenient and worth the stay. Would recommend if you're looking for an affordable place to stay in a centralized location!

Great, central location and good walkability (we were there for pop culture con at the Colorado Convention Center). Knowledgeable staff, fun community, and clean rooms. Just be aware that wifi was a bit spotty sometimes, and many common bathrooms had no sinks (wash hands in showers down the hall it seemed?)

A pretty run down building flanked by loud bars on a busy street. There was no AC so we had to sleep with the windows open and the street noise was pretty loud. Overall, a decent place. Denver is expensive, so you pretty much get what you pay for.

There was no air conditioning in the hostel, only a small fan in each room. It was 90° in Denver the two nights I stayed, the room was unbearably hot and made it difficult to stay/sleep in the room. If there was air conditioning I would have enjoyed my stay.

We were charged $75 a night at this hostel. Our room was across from Club Vinyl and due to the lack of air conditioning, we had to have our window open, making it incredibly difficult to sleep until after 2am. The bathrooms were disgusting; feces to the brim of the toilets, no soap for the sinks, I have been to many hostels and have never encountered anything like this. The staff is nice, but unfortunately they can not make up for this place. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I’ve stayed in dozens of hostels and this was probably the worst experiences I’ve had. There’s is nothing in this place that makes it feel like a hostel, no common area, a place to grab a drink and not even a kitchen. This place just feels like a cheap hotel and a real gross one of that. I found three showers on our floor for a total of must have been 30 rooms, toilets where often so gross that I chose to go somewhere else. Staff, although real friendly felt like they hated working there.

This is easily one of the worst hostels I’ve stayed in. If you want a place to sleep and nothing else; then it’s fine. Otherwise, there are other hostels in the city for the same price that are significantly nicer. I’d say skip this old, run down, two bathrooms for an entire floor, no A/C having, etc hostel.
