Solo & Stayed here over a week. The rooms are immaculately clean. They come and clean throughout the day, the free breakfast is great. Conveniently located. Arrange a ride w/them from airport 10-15 mins. The neighborhood seems a little sketch but no one bothers you, nothing to be afraid of. LaBarra across the street is really fun. Karaoke on Wednesday nights! Support the locals in the market for souvenirs. THEE BEST WI-FI! Awesome staff! Reuben and Thomas were very helpful! Gonna miss this place!

Rueben at front desk was super helpful. He greeted everyone by name and when I needed a midnight meal, he walked with me to KFC for safety. Other staffs are friendly as well. Good location in the city bowl, not right in the happenings but right by it which provides more quietness that I’d prefer.

Really Great location. Nice, big, clean rooms. Atmosphere is tough right now because they are only booking the rooms half way. So the majority of people visiting the bar were locals. I was very happy with my room. larger than normal lockers under the beds that are built solid. hostel is a great jump-off point to hanging out in different parts of the city but also gives easy access to long street and kloof. I would definitely stay again. Staff was friendly and helpful

I stayed in the 20 bed pod room. All top bunks were kept open for Covid which was great. There is one portable AC in the room and it does not keep it cool. Expect to sleep with no comforter. The pods themselves have a built in keycard locker and outlets. Very nice overall. The vibe isn’t too great, lots of locals hangout there and the music is too loud in the evening. But I met some great friends during breakfast which was tasty. Overall I would highly recommend.

Awesome place to stay for a night or two! They have locked cages under your bed for you to store your things in. Awesome bathrooms! Only thing I didn't expect was that they don't have a kitchen to cook your own food, but they do have a restaurant.

Clean hostel, good breakfast, the only downsid was that there wasn't much of an atmosphere in terms of meeting people when I was there

Good Value / Money. Great for party. Close to city center and a lot of nice restaurants/bars/clubs. Not good for workation. Horrible breakfasts. Better to eat elsewhere. But a lot of great places around the corner. Poor Wi-Fi, does not work in particular rooms.

Too many locals stay here. They let a class of 15-20 high school age students stay here with their chaperones which totally killed the vibe. Construction going on directly across the street would always start with the jackhammers at 7:30am (not much they can do about that unfortunately but looks like it will be a big project that will continue way past April). Location is a very good central spot though.
