I was only in Rome on this visit for about 24 hours, so this location right next to the train station was very, very convenient, even though the neighborhood isn't the most picturesque. The room itself was clean and comfortable for a short stay. Towels, sheets, shower curtain could probably use a refresh, and neither of the bedside lamps seemed to work, but the proprietress was so nice and I had no trouble finding her when I needed to check in and out.

We had a pleasant experience at the casa. Great location, spacious room and all nice and clean. My only advice is to state that everything needs be paid in cash upon arrival. Would book again!

    Very Good

I stayed here overnight between flights in Rome. It is near the train station which was nice because we flew into one airport in Rome and flew out of another airport so the train station was on our way between the two. I set my check in time as 11pm, I arrived and was told that I had cancelled my reservation. Their list didn't populate reservations made on hostelworld but luckily he had an open room or I would have been sleeping on the sidewalk next to the train station! Book with another site!!

They did not have our Hostelworld reservation in their booking system. We had to prove we had a reservation. He told us credit cards were not accepted-there was a stack of credit card slips on the desk and the Hostelworld website indicated that credit cards are accepted. We only had enough cash for one night. We found a 4 star hotel nearby that was FAR NICER and only slightly more expensive. No hot water, bare furnishings, bad wi fi, 3 different locks to get in-unsafe, clean-don't go there

SKIP THIS PLACE. Started knocking on our door over and over at 9AM tell us we HAD TO LEAVE in 10 minutes when checkout isn't until 11. No AC in the middle of July, told "tomorrow it will work"- 5 days later, still no aircon. Went into our room while we were gone and left the doors to the residential, SHARED BALCONY completely open with our phones and laptops in the room. The young guy working here was really nice- terribly managed/ terribly overpriced place. Wifi never worked. Skip it.

We had to check in in the middle of the night (called beforehand). Manager sent us extremely rude emails, first trying to get 20€ for each hour after 1am, then demanding to pay at least 25€ "and the rest we will see", for no good reason (HW states they do have 24h reception and nothing about extra fees). Then there was a double charge on the credit card which locked the money for a week. The area around feels very unsafe, with homeless people sleeping on the street like 50m away. Just skip it

Worst way to start a Birthday traveling. 16hrs +5hr transfer to Rome. Arrived at 10am. Checkin is 1pm. Nice Italian only speaking lady showed me my booking confirmation printed out and told me to return at 2pm. So I painfully zombied the streets of Rome. When I returned she had a guy on the phone tell me in English there was no room available for me. They offer a c**p hotel w/room at the front doorway with cot like beds. Last min $$$earching Got to my new hotel at 5pm. First day wasted. Smdh.

I would not recommend this place. It’s unprofessional and I didn’t feel safe, especially as a woman.
