The staff was extremely friendly and the hostel itself was amazing atmosphere overall. If you get a room with a window facing bachelors walk get some ear plugs from reception because the night life going on outside can be a bit loud when trying to sleep. They have plenty of facilities in hallways and in your dorm rooms and the BYOL cages under the beds!

My friends and I fell in love with this hostel right when we got dropped off. Such an amazing location, with very friendly staff. We stayed in the 12 mixed dorm, which was spacious and very clean. They have multiple rooms (cinema, hammock, etc.) to hangout in, which is so nice after a day of exploring. They even have a bar area to pre game before going out for the night. Can’t wait to go back, would 100% recommend.

Stayed here for one night -solo traveller. Reception staff friendly and helpful, advised me to go on the pub crawl that they were selling tickets for, went on it and was good value for money and a great night. Hostel is very central, close to shopping street, transport links and near temple bar area/ ha penny bridge. Hostel clean, rooms basic but comfortable. Nice communal areas with games room, kitchen, hammock room etc. Had an ensuite which was clean, shared shower areas clean too.

Stayed at Abbey Court for a few nights on my visit to Dublin. I stayed in a 4 person multi-sex room. The room was okay, bed comfy enough and warm enough. The bathroom was tiny but functional. Little privacy with the bed situation but that didn’t bother me. There are crates that you can lock your stuff away in under the beds. The hostel offered free continental breakfast and it was absolutely fine. The other facilities offered were nice too. The biggest sell is location, which is amazing!!

    Fabulous

I arrived in Dublin super early because of my flight arrival. Check in at the hostel is not until 2:00 but the staff was nice enough to let me in to the common areas to relax until the beds were cleaned and available. The 4 bed mixed dorm was in a separate building with a card reader on the main door and another card reader on the room door. The room had an attached bathroom and although it was small it more than did the job. Would book again!

We had a great time overall. The location is right on the river and there are lots of pubs and restaurants nearby. Only issue we had was the noise both from the street and the folks on our floor. Definitely geared towards a younger, party-going type. Otherwise, it was clean, the staff were friendly, and the place was secure.

    Fabulous

The free breakfast was great, meats and rolls and cereals with freshly brewed coffee. The place was under construction the whole time I was there which made it a maze to get anywhere in the place because all direct routes were closed. They had a nice pool area and a hammock room and cinema room. The rooms were okay, but there were a lot of older men in my room who snored very loudly. I thought they seemed over the regular age limit, but I know the snoring isn’t on the hostel.

A bit of a confusing place. Good location right on the Liffey and near Grafton street, but difficult to meet other people staying there. The pub crawl was a good time, but otherwise didn't meet many people at all. Probably a better place if you're traveling with people than if you're on your own!

Most of the staff are irritating and unfriendly. Reception area separate from the hostel itself so no interaction. The place is dead, no piped music in the common areas. Easy to get lost in the warren. Only fun is when you take your own friends with you, no new friends can enter, no really hostel atmosphere, ideal for bland millennials. Has a security guard patrolling !!! Achtung !! Pretend bar !! No alcohol, duh !! Repeat :- DEAD !! Staff: Couldn't care less !!

The rooms are very small and they stack them with a lot of bunk beds which results in a lot of people in a tiny space and no personal space. Bunk beds are super weak and literally side by side so if one moves from one side of the room you’ll feel on the opposite side. The emergency light makes it impossible to sleep and they don’t event tell you about it. The building is a maze an super old, the facilities not in optimal conditions. Breakfast and location are good, but that’s it.
