I had to find somewhere cheap and local to stay for a few nights. I was very pleased with every aspect of Abercorn House. I would definitely recommend this establishment.

    Fabulous

Overall the hostel was very nice. We had a private room which had our own bathroom. Very small space but worth it for the price. We had our own fridge also. There was not a fitted sheet on the bed which was a little frustrating as it pulled up in the middle of the night. There also was no air conditioning. We had the window open the whole time but still was a little warm. Due to it being October it was okay, but would be awe full in the summer.

    Fabulous

I've been going to Abercorn for years now, because it's the cheapest and right in Hammersmith. But this time did find hairs on the bed and pillows, and the toilets on floor 3 were blocked and not clean. Also there is no hand dryer in toilets, or hand towels. So you got to use toilet paper, and the men kept comeing in the women toilets on floor 3. But apart from that you cant go wrong, booking agine in December.

    Fabulous

Recently refurbished building, new mattresses and clean bed lining. Dusty in corners, visible signs of mould and limescale in showers and toilets. Nice and clean kitchens but zero opportunity to cook anything, none pans or saucepans (have to take something from home), just a microwave.

    Very Good

WiFi is not included. You have to pay per hour. They have a good “cafe” but it’s cash only so make sure you have £. If you have more than one person stay in your room you only get one key. The lights on the room are very bright LED and you have to pick all on or all off. Worst thing was mostly because of other guests who were rudely loud at hours of the early morning and night. But overall was a decent stay.

Very thin walls so you can hear everything at night. Not great when you are trying to sleep and people keep opening their doors. Bathrooms were clean expect for the soap which had a lot of mold on it. Had a double room which is just two beds push together. Annoying when it was suppose to be a double bed. If you are travelling by yourself just get a single room. Great location staff friendly kitchen was clean.

Not the best, not the worst. Location was amazingly close to transit and everything was a short train ride away. The actual hostel was kinda run down, the toilets had maintanence issues my entire 6 night stay and the bathrooms didn’t even supply paper towels for your hands after washing them. I didn’t feel entirely comfortable even in a private room because you can hear LITERALLY everything though the walls. The price was super cheap so you get what you pay for. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

Room was serviced every 2 days which was a bonus as we stayed here for 2 weeks , although some of our items got taken and thrown out and which the men at the desk did nothing about once told. Toilets are for everybody which makes them to be very unclean and can be uncomfortable , extremely noisy specially had a group of polytechnic type school kids with no respect .. will say amazing location and value for money I suppose wasn’t all bad

location was good however I have to say it was the worst night's sleep I had ever had! The bed was super uncomfortable with homes in the sheets and hairs in the bed, which was a shame cause the staff were so nice.
