I didn't use all the facilities so I don't know exactly how much there is or how great they are so I gave it one less than a perfect score. But otherwise, this place is so awesome! My usual spot I like wasn't available but I'm glad because I was able to discover this hostel. It's clean (one of the cleanest I've been in yet!), very central to most everything in Dublin, the staff is friendly and there was an overall nice vibe. I can not recommend this enough. I cannot wait to be back and stay here

Cheap, clean and incredible location. Second time I’ve stayed here - added bonus of just being €6 door-to-door for the airport as well so that stupidly early flight leaving Dublin was an absolute breeze to get to

The rooms were clean and tidy, each bed had its own little light, usb ports and two plug sockets which was useful. The bathrooms in the dorms were good sized, clean and had showers. The staff were friendly. After checkout, we left our bags in the luggage room as we were spending the day in Dublin. The luggage room did not have a place to lock your bags away, although the door to the luggage room was locked. I would recommend to stay here and I would happily stay here again. Good price too.

I stayed in a private room that was beyond spacious and worth my money. It was ready for two people, with one double and one single bed. It is significantly cheaper for a private room than other hostels and exceeded my expectation!

Having never stayed in a hostel before, I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good and the location made it really easy to see the city! The beds were comfy enough and there were charging ports and a light on each bed. Bathrooms were cleaned every day from what I saw, and they came to take away sheets from people who had left. Sheets were provided to put down, but I have no idea how often the comforters or pillows were cleaned. Locks available for 4 euro for the lockers

Best location you could hope for. Comfortable beds. Very nice staff. Free breakfast until 10:30 am. The bed could have been cleaner (hair on the masters and on the bed linen) and the shower as well. Everything went very well!!!

Well, seems like the issue is not just with this hostel but all hostels i have been to in UK and Ireland. Lock systems in the dorms are not good (cage below the bed and get your own padlock), rooms with 12 and more beds with just 1 washroom that is not so clean, weird people in the dorms (not the fault of the hostel though). Overall, it's really expensive for a hostel and still you get a feel of staying in a humid, unclean environment. Would definitely book a private room or a hotel next time

Abigails Hostel says

I think we've got an unbeatable location in Temple Bar, overlooking the Liffey. This is a converted hotel, so families and older guests feel at home, too. Plus we've got a bright, open-plan communal area-great for socialising, web surfing, watching movies… For fun we have a free walking tour every morning and a pub crawl from the hostel every evening. We've got fresh fruit and eggs at breakfast, too. We're quite close to Trinity College and Dublin Castle, but my favourite place to recommend is the Guinness Brewery. Lynda, General Manager
