Brilliant place to stay. Friendly staff, nice breakfast and very good facilities and rooms. Short walk from the centre and the liffey. Dublin is a great city and this is an ideal place to stay.

The only things I had an issue with were the size of the room, we could all barely move around in there. Suggest maybe putting it down to 2 bunk beds instead of 3 in room 35. Also if we could get towels that would be great as I didn’t think to bring one. Other than that the staff was amazing and breakfast was good for the cost of the hostel! Would stay again

Only stayed one night but was all I needed. Stayed in a 16-bed mixed dorm and was pleasantly surprised with the space in the room. It felt really clean with fresh sheets, pillowcase and duvet cover that we put on ourselves (which always makes me feel more confident in the cleanliness). One weird part was the sink being in the room rather than the bathroom, so brushing teeth or washing hands felt disruptive to everyone else. The common bathroom was small too, and I didn’t find a common shower.

It's an average hostel among all hostel that I had tried. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room is very quiet and the people that I met in the hostel is amazing. The only thing that upset me is that the women who prepare breakfast in the morning always screw up my day early in the morning with her attitude.

The room was clean, the staff was nice polite and welcoming. The included breakfast is great. I love the location because it's very close form the city center, there's a train station (Conolly station) very near from Abraham hostel and there's a cycles station in front of the building so it's easy to hire it and visit the city, I loved that ! The only negative thing was the bathroom : small, flooded after people used it, and not convenient.

Abraham’s hostel did the job. Upon arrival I was given very little information by the staff member who checked me in, basically I was just handed sheets and sent off. My biggest problem was that the hot water was out during my stay so it wasn’t possible to take warm showers, which is nice after being outside in the rain. Overall, I felt like it wasn’t worth €75 for two nights without proper facilities but it did have good breakfast and was clean.

I was told to choose any bed from six. Chose a bed by making it and leaving some belongings on it only to come back later that evening and finding someone else in the bed!?! After relaying this info to reception I was left with no option but to sleep on the couch in the hallway. Surely beds could be designated to individual guests.

Abrahams Hostel says

A lot of people stay here because we've got a great location on direct airport bus routes beside the main train (Connolly), bus (Busaras), suburban rail and tram stations. We're in a beautiful, historic Georgian building with the friendliest welcome in Dublin. We get a great mix of all ages staying here - backpackers, school and university groups, families and couples - and to keep everyone entertained we have a pub crawl from our hostel every evening, a free walking tour every morning and free DVDs/games, plus fresh fruit and eggs at breakfast. We're close to O'Connell St/GPO (0.4 km), Temple Bar (1.2 km), Trinity College (1.2 km) and The O2 (1.3 km), but I tell people they should definitely visit the Guinness Brewery and Kilmainham Gaol.
