Excellent spot. We were over for a mountain bike event based at Nevis Range which is only a 10 minutes drive up the road. Needed somewhere with good facilities and reasonably priced. Ticks all the boxes. Comfy beds, big kitchen and a beaut location, highly recommended.

I stayed at the hostel three nights and was very happy with my stay. The hostel was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was big and well equipped. A lot of care had been taken with Covid measures to ensure that everyone was kept as safe as possible.

A clean and comfortable place which was easy to find. A microwave would be good for non cooks. Dont be alarmed if you tip up and the place is in darkness and looks closed as happened to me because there were only two of us staying and the other guest had not returned from his day out. The door is open and the lights easy to find. That said I would rather this approach than lots of lights wasting electricity. Gavin appeared not long after I had arrived and was very pleasant and informative

It was the perfect location to explore Fort William and Ben Nevis 😊 We did have a car hired but it was an easy and scenic drive. The accommodation was cosy, social and exactly what we needed as a simple and happy home base after our outdoor adventuring - would stay again 🙌

Only a microwave would have improved things. Excellent value, facilities, atmosphere otherwise.

I really enjoy my stay at Aite Cruinnichidh, love the kitchen area and the information board in suggesting what you could do, as otherwise I would have miss out on the tour with Vertical Descents. The problems I have is that my phone have no signal in this place at all, and if I were not in my bedroom or sitting room, I wont be able to go on internet. Also, it is not very accessible via public transport.

Location is all Value is the rest Facilities were entirely as you’d expect in a hostel. Would definitely stay again. The entrance is a challenge from either direction, with very sudden appearance traveling NE and an impossible turn from NE; caution! Separate kitchen and lounge provide plenty of social space but the Covid meant almost no interaction with staff at all. No big deal. We had 2 bunks in a 6 bunk room with current max load of 4. Showers and toilets in a cluster downstairs.

    Very Good

Very quaint hostel on a beautiful piece of land. If you're looking for a base to explore this area specifically, it's great. But if you're going for meeting people, using internet, going to a pub, or doing a lot of the most popular things in the area then it's a bit further than you want it to be.
