Great B&B. Owner is more an accomodating. Is a little far from the Nakafurano station but there is a shuttle bus and if you get in touch early the host may be able to pick you up. Gorgeous location, great breakfasts and dinners. Will definitely be coming back.

Run by a wonderful host and his family. Feels more like you're staying at friends house than any kind of hostel or hotel. Not really anything of interest in a walkable distance but if you have a car it's close enough to Furano and Biei to be worth a stay. Will definitely stay again!

Akane-yado is nestled in the beautiful hills of Nakafurano. While it is a little far from convenient stores or the train line, the staff are always accommodating with their shuttle runs. Dinner and breakfast are optional and are both good options if you don't have any food. Only downside is that the wifi is terribly slow so make sure not to rely on it. Thanks for the stay! Will try to get back.

    Fabulous

Very nice, small hostel on the outskirts of Naka-Furano. Everything is clean and well-maintained and the rooms are comfortable. The owner is very helpful and speaks very good English, also the food is homemade and delicious. It's really out of the way though. If you don't arrive by car you should plan your trip carefully, as the bus that connects the hostel to the station only runs twice a day.

Very nice owner! Since the guesthouse is in a remote spot and there is no public transport, the owners offers to drive and pick you up from the city :) The food they offer is amazing, breakfast is very good value for money! No steam bath and hot tub though.

    Very Good

First of all, this is really more of a home stay than a hostel - something I wasn't aware of beforehand. After a whole day of traveling, starving, I get to the guesthouse and was told I could not have dinner because I didn't reserve ahead of time, but I don't even recall this being an option on the website. Place is very far out of the way, cannot get to and from lodging without a ride. Atrocious WiFi. Nice host but cant make up for inconvenience faults. Do not recommend. Left early.
