I stayed here twice my last visit to Santiago De Compostela. The place was great but what made the experience amazing was Luthia. She is probably the best employee I’ve ever dealt with from any hostel or hotel. Her customer service was above and beyond and always with a smile and kindness. She should be employee of the year.

Great hostel! Staff is friendly. WiFi is great! Like the sleeping compartments versus a bunk bed. Pretty quiet for as many beds as they have. Pretty good location to the old city. Great location to the train! Restaurants and grocery both nearby.

A good spot. Clever design meant 68 beds were not crowded. Privacy via a curtain on the bunk was good. Close to the railway/ bus station and handy to the town. I agree with the other positive comments. Big plus for me was clothes washing/drying facilities.

    Fabulous

I had a good time at the hostel. Only thing is there wasn't really a place to cook or a toaster. There is a microwave. Staff are super friendly though! Would recommend, just keep in mind you can't really cook. Didnt really talk much to people but I guess a lot of them were pilgrims knackered from the long walk. Understandable.

Fantastic location. Staff are very friendly. Place is clean. Good facilities. Beds have curtain so good privacy. Make sure to take up their offer of a blanket... it can get quite chilly at night! Definitely recommend though

    Fabulous

The place was pretty clean, beds were comfy and had good security lockers to use for free since you get your 1€ back. Staff was nice and the facility had what we needed. Its an albergue, not a hostel, so its for pilgrims finishing el camino. Hence there isn’t much atmosphere or any services offered to meet people, so as long as you don’t go in with that expectation you’ll have a just a nice place to sleep. Also the beds have a curtain, making it feel more private which I thought was a plus.

    Very Good

Very nice staff, helpful and friendly. Location is good, short walk from popular local square and the old town can be reached in just 10-15 minutes. The bathrooms were a little on the stinky side, and the showers are very basic. There is usually loads of food and things that pilgrims passing through leave behind, which is nice when you're traveling on a budget. Beds are nice with shelf, light, outlet, and curtain. Nice big lockers. Big common area where you can hangout. Overall great place!

The hostel was closed when I arrived. When I emailed them, they shared that they had rebooked me elsewhere in Santiago. They tried contacting me via phone, but I did not have an international plan and therefore, did not receive any phone calls or messages. After a day of hiking and desperately needing to sleep, I was disappointed that I could not trust that this place was available to me when I booked it.

When i have arrived there, a sign on the doors said that they are closed and, of course, the phone number on the doors did not work. Going trough this was rather unpleasant as there were practically no other options. In the end i had to hike 8km all the way back to by the track to find a place to sleep. I actually cannot give an objective review on this hostel as IT WAS LITERALLY CLOSED WITHOUT ANY SIGNS OF LIFE. I would like to ask for this to be put down in order to prevent similar situations.
