I really loved staying here! The atmosphere is relaxed and the artists are really friendly. Mandy (sorry if it’s spelt incorrectly) is really hospitable and kind. He is really passionate about the space and art and his friends are really good people. We chatted about many things and I learnt a lot about Albania and Kosovo. Breakfast was awesome as well. If you’re easy going, open and free spirited you’ll love staying here.

Great place, with nice artistic vibes. The hosts were incredibly nice and helped with all our questions and ideas. We loved being around the place and used it as a base to explore Tirane. Had a great time and will come again when in town!

    Fabulous

V cool, excellent value, laidback, arty hostel. Location is great, v central but calm. Bit difficult to find (don't go off google maps!) but the owners came out to find me...which they also did on my last day so I had a key to go back for my bags. Personal service! Also made me a delicious huge breakfast. Bathrooms aren't luxurious and some might struggle with sheer curtains of bedroom windows onto terrace where guests can sit (wasn't an issue when I was there) but it's comfortable & bohemian.

It can be difficult to find it. If you pass the Tanners Bridge turn to first left and navigate yourself through parked cars. There is a red gate on the right at the end, two doors from no 15 the Villa. The hosts were very helpful and coming to meet us when we were lost at night. The hosts were chatty, usually coming back after the midnight but still making you cup of tea. You can see Aurora painting to 2-3 in the morning. The breakfast can be erratic. There is only one toilet and shower.

Interesting idea, it deserves to be supported. Good alternative choice for a traveler although more attention and effort by the stuff is required. Ps A change at the mattress in the private double room would be a good idea. Also common spaces should be heated more effectively. Thank you for your hosting, we hope to see you again.

Aurora and her friend who hosted us were very nice. The room was comfortable, but was advertised as having an en suite bathroom, which it did not. Perfect location, a short walk to cafes, bars, parks and restaurants. We were a bit concerned about security, though...we asked for a key to lock our room so we could go out and keep our stuff secure, since the house door was never locked, but they weren’t able to provide us one until our second night.

We would not stay here again, nor recommend it to others. Hosts are artists 1st - and their *distant* 2nd concern is running the hostel. Breakfast is supposed to be included, it never happened - even waited 2 hours to give host a chance and they still weren't up (at noon), so we left. We had a private room, but the laundry is hung out on the back patio so you can see straight into the room. The hosts are also loud! Great location though. Hosts are nice enough, but VERY low value for $. Avoid.

The pros: -good breakfast -great location The cons: -the place looks like a squat. -the staff is hard to find and barely helpful. I had to ask 3 times for a laundry service to the only staff around that barely even knew what laundry was. Eventually, they did it and hung our clothes like some old rags. - we booked a private room with AC but the window was broken so, AC was wasted and mosquitos were abundant. -Every mistake was excused by the phrase “we’re artists”.

The place was dirty and cold and the hosts were not nice to us. Our blanket smelled like smoke. We had one electric heater, but it was still very cold so we asked for another one. The hosts said that they would have to pay too much bill because of that, so they did not give us another one. The guy was okay, he made nice breakfast for us. Basically the breatfast was the only nice thing at that place. They constantly smoke inside, so if you are a non-smokers i dont recommend.
