Very nice place in a cultural region of Dam near the cultural region (museums etc). Staff were very helpful with recommendations and explanations of the hostel. Breakfast was bread with spreads which was plenty to cure a hangover. Atmosphere as extremely chilled out. Would defo recommend to a friend

Location good, very nice and advicing staff! Good for couple of nights when you are just exploring the city. When we came toilets were dirty but were cleaned up next day. No lockers and breakfast was okay.

Was good for one night. With no lockers and only bread for breakfast, you really are paying for location. Tram station, supermarket and park across the road.

I would not recommend this hostel. The staff were rude and not helpful. The rooms have triple bunks which were quite a pain to manage. I also had no way to charge my phone when in bed as there were not very many outlets in the room. Free breakfast was incredibly minimal. The location is great, but there are better hostels also with good locations.

My experience was not satisfactory. The rooms are equipped with triple bunk beds, which usually is fine, but the mattress was not wide enough so you have the feeling you might fall down from the bed. Besides, the ceiling is not high enough to have this kind of bed there. The bathroom in the third floor was weird: the showers work pretty well but the water runs from the shower cabine to the toilet so if you just want to use the toilet you have to step on water. Breakfast is just toast bread.

The sheets were blood stained, there was food under the beds and the photos are misleading as the toilets are a lot smaller. Breakfast is included but it is bread (not toasted) and some spread. However the location was pretty good and we walked everywhere

It was very uncomfortable, the restrooms were unclean and very tight, I paid for a 10 person room and only got a 15 person room. The only benefit was that the hotel was 2km from the city center.

About a week before arriving in Amsterdam we had 150 euros taken from our account from this hostel - which we were not expecting. We then were told we needed to pay the full amount in cash and the 150 was a retainer. Luckily we had enough money in our account to do this but we were not allowed to use the 150 as a contribution, which could really be a problem for travellers on a budget. The hostel was loud all through the night and we didnt sleep a wink. I would not go back to this hostel.

I was travelling with 5 of my friends, we were given room number 12, it was practically a prison cell, two 3 story bunkbeds in roughly a 2x2 meter room with the only window in the ceiling! Absolutely ridiculous, it’s a good thing we where all friends I wouldn’t have wanted stay in there with randomers. There was only 1 toilet on the top floor between 20+ people. Finally the breakfast was stale bread (not even toasted) with a couple of spreads. Will not be returning to Annemarie
