Great location! Wake up right on the beach everyday, with hammocks to sit in as well. Biggest perk was the included kayaks to paddle around the islands & lagoons. If your passing thru stay here.

Great little place. Good location. Nice facilities. Cheapest option on the peninsula. Nice way to meet people. Just make sure to never leave the door open ever so mosquitoes don't come in.

I was very pleased with the cleanliness. During my stay of 5 days, they cleaned every day. They were very accommodating and allowed me to stay at the hostel until my flight left in the late afternoon. The kayaks are free to use which was a huge bonus, and the hostel is literally right on the beach. The location couldnt be better! I would add though that a microwave might be a nice addition to the hostel! The hammocks were awesome and there was more than enough seating! .can recommend.

Clean place, friendly host to check us in. Very kind and caring while getting us settled in. One problem though was that there was no protection from mosquitos while you sleep. There is a little fan at the end of each bed which helps with the heat. However, the heat was so intense that it only kept you cool if your limbs were outside of the sheet, but then the mosquitos would attack. We woke up with our arms covered in bites. If you stay here, bring lots of strong bug spray.

So the hostel is great , I loved it but they have this old guy staying there for awhile now, he drinks rum and complains all day and stays in the hostel I am pretty sure at some point he peed himself because he just drinks. I wasn’t comfortable walking in bathing suit there and just stayed away as much as I could. But besides that the hostel was great the owners were nice other guest were cool.

This hostel was in a good location - close to downtown Placencia and the beach! There were some hammocks out front which were nice. The host was super sweet and accommodating. Although I wouldn’t say it was the best hostel I have stayed in - it had a multiple beds, fans, a cute cat, and great guests to meet. Overall the facility wasn’t too clean and a bit outdated. It does the job to sleep but not much else.

Hands down the WORST hostel I have ever stayed at. You can tell this place had not been cleaned for weeks. And now know that for a fact. A woman left for 4 weeks then came back and said the garbage she accidentally left on the window was still there when she returned 4 WEEKS LATER. The showers did not work. There was no toilet paper. The kitchen was so dirty we didn’t even attempt to cook in it. Spend a couple extra dollars on an AirBnb. You’ll thank me for it.
