Located at the end of a small road, you avoid traffic and noise from the streets. Rooms are clean, hot water, wifi, breakfast, not expensive ... Nothing missing. Really cool atmosphere, you can easily discuss with other guests and staff member. They are always helpful and no feeling of commercial pressure. Definitely a great place to stay in the heart of Thamel !

Amazing location right in the middle of it all while being in a quiet side street so you can sleep at the end of a long day! Would definitely recommend this accommodation and have already rebooked for our next stay in Kathmandu.

My stay here was wonderful. Above anything else, the staff was great— not only did they book my bus to Pokhara, but the host woke up extra early to make my breakfast and even walked me to the bus stop in the rain to make sure I got on the right one. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect as well, near everything but very quiet in the room at night. Overall I would highly recommend!

Andes Hostel was great. We just stayed there one night after we landed and left the next morning but they checked us in at 9:30 PM and were very helpful. The owner booked the day bus for Pokhara for us for the next day. Breakfast is supposed to start at 7 but we needed to be at our stop by 6:45 so the owner got up early made us breakfast and then walked us to the bus stop. Very nice of him. The room was normal and everything worked fine.

The location is perfect and the guy running the place is very friendly. The breakfast is eggs, toast, and a banana with tea or coffee. The space is clean and the windows have screens. I didn't have hot water in my room, but other than that the stay was comfortable.

Great stay at Andes house. Breakfast included was great, and the owner helped us immensely with what to do in the area, and even took us on a guided hike at sunrise to Nagarkot. Provided lots of local insight and got to eat breakfast and lunch in small villages along the way. Facilities were basic but good for what we needed.

It was the middle of winter and there was no heating. There was also no one at reception when I needed help. There were no instructions on how to get help if there was no one at reception.
