It was a great place to stay for the price. It is a quick tram ride away from major destinations. The staff were great with helping with a variety of things. There are small lockers available. I recommend it for the value.

Pro: Decent hostel, good facilities, nice staff, neighborhood is a bit sketch, but central. Con: Not enough sockets in rooms, each bed should have a socket for phone charging etc You have to pay extra for linen, and its compulsory, why not just include it on the price? Atmosphere in the lobby can be a bit boring.

Hostel was clean and comfortable. Good security and close enough walk to all the bars and sights. It was a mixed crowd of older and younger people so not much partying, but it did the job. We had a great time in Oslo!

I’m not sure if it was the time of the week I was there, but all of the events for the hostel didn’t seem to be happening. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of community but that might have been because of my own shyness. The staff was very kind and helpful!

Everything in Norway is expensive for what it is but that's just how it is. The rooms did not have any lockers (something I look for) and the kitchen is in the room itself which I thought was weird (you feel uncomfortable cooking breakfast while people are sleeping). We had great people in our room, talkative and funny so our atmosphere was great.

Good hostel. Small kitchen and bathrooms in each dorm which is good. No lockers in your room though and you have to pay extra for sheets.

The hostel was basic but fine. The location was okay in some parts but the walk from the station to the hostel was horrible and felt really unsafe - I wish we had been warned of that so we would have known it was safer to get a taxi or a tram. We instead ended up walking through crowds of drug users that were dropping syringes all over the place. The room was basic and suited us okay as we were only using the hostel to sleep. Staff were lovey when we came in contact with them.

I arrived late, around 23 hs on a Saturday night, when I came to my room, everyone was sleeping so I tried not to make much noise putting the bed sheets in the dark. By the way for the sheets you need to pay extra as they are not included with your accommodation. The bathroom was okayish, considering that there are 8 people in that room. There are no showers outside that one shower for 8 people, so be ready to wait in the morning. No lockers in the room, only tiny ones in the reception.
