It's Scandi-bright and the friendly staff at our reception are on 24-hour duty to welcome you, so there’s no need to worry about late flights or delayed trains. If you're bringing your own ride, you can leave it safely in our large parking garage. A very ‘commercial’ hostel, everything costs, but still the best hostel in the city in terms of value for money. Staff are nice, amnesties are good but for a price ofc, location is best part. Although it’s in the ‘ghetto’ of Oslo, it’s surrounded by nice bars and restaurants, kebab shops and convenience stores. Also 10NOK / £1 coffee which is as cheap as it gets from the coffee machine.

    Very Good

Great location! Walking distance from down town and the central train station, staff super friendly! Had to put down a deposit for pots, plates and cutlery(no problem), but could only borrow them for 3 hours at a time. The room could have had some more charm. It had to be locked from the outside and at one time someone walked right into our room to take the trash without knocking. We complained and it didn't happen again. Elavator and halls could use an update.

I didn't like it on the walk from the train station. The area isn't the best and made me uncomfortable. No lockers. Laundry room was not only scary all the way at the back of a parking garage, but completely useless. 4 hours on 2 loads (running at the same time!) No plugs in the bathroom, so no blowdrying or straightening your hair. No plugs or lamps at the beds. Very basic, very bare minimum. Definitely don't recommend it for a weary traveller.

I am an experienced traveler and this was by far the WORST hostel experience of my life. Rooms do NOT look like photos. 1) From the station, you must walk through a very sketchy street known for hard drug use. Not recommended for solo female traveler. 2) no nightlife near the hostel, so be prepared to walk 15-20 min if this is what you’re looking for. 3) staff are rude, unorganized, and unwilling to help 4) walked into our room to find the bed just as the guest had left it. A gross mess.
