Had a wonderful time, enjoyed our stay as it felt like we were staying with a family and therefore had a homely feeling. The people that worked there were very helpful about activities around Split. We especially found the girl who worked there very funny! It was very good value for money.

Good Hostel, the only problem is that there is just one bathroom for everybody.

It was a bit annoying to only have one toilet and shower between all of us, to have no lockers and to always have to ring the doorbell. Also felt that there was a real lack of privacy as we shared all the facilities with the host. However, it didn't feel threatening at all and I only stayed there for two nights so I got what I paid for. It wasn't dodgy, just a little bit illegitimate. The description and pictures are somewhat misleading, even untrue.

We arrived and were greeted poorly by reception who couldn’t leave his game on his phone. There was a stain on the wall right next to the bed I slept in and I couldn’t find any toilet paper for the bathroom.

Found wet pyjamas under the pillow of one of our beds, staff were annoyed at our subsequent request for clean sheets. Blankets and walls had questionable stains on and "hostel" stank of cigarette smoke. There were also no lockers for bags or a way to lock our room door, also had to ring doorbell to get in as we weren't given a key to get in the apartment :(

Unpleasant stay for several reasons. The address on the website is wrong, they send people to some cousin's place in town. During my second night they brought more people to the place than regular beds are in. And so I had to sleep IN the common area. Which meant that people were sitting and partying on the couch that I was supposed to sleep on. I had to ask the people around midnight for leaving the common area to leave me a spot to sleep.

The host wasn’t very welcoming when we got there and the place was very hard to find. He also sleeps in the kitchen so it isn’t always available to use. It was okay for a night, but wouldn’t do any longer and probably wouldn’t stay here again. There was only one shower and toilet together for the whole hostel, and the place didn’t feel very communal. The rooms were nice, but there was no lockers and the doors had no locks. The host also put some guests he overbooked in an unsafe situation.

This hostel was very difficult to locate, then when you finally get to the front door it has a different name on the doorbell so we were very confused. There was no key so you had to ring a doorbell every time you came home even late at night when the owner was asleep. There was one bathroom for over 25 people, this is not okay for hygiene reasons and also timing in mornings and afternoons for showers or toilet as they were all in one. No lockers or security at all.

Although cheap I would not stay here again. The hostel seemed also to be a family home which meant we didn’t use the kitchen, the bunk beds were uncomfortable and my top bunk did not have a safety rail so I constantly woke up throughout the night because I was worried I would fall off. There was a brown stain on the wall and the blankets had various stains on them as well. For the number of people staying there was only one bathroom. Smoking was allowed and as we don’t smoke it was not pleasant.
