The staff are different level! Wadi Rum, the camp etc was fantastic no doubt, but the guys out there is the game changer! So friendly and helpful! Rashid and Mumu, big thumbs up to you guys! The cook, though a little shy, provides the most sumptuous meals one can ask for! No network, everyone away from their phones, great conversations, hot tea available always, tour worth doing, dinner worth the 10 JD in the middle of the desert! Carry enough layers and gloves if you going in the winter!

All up it was a good stay. Was very suprised about the facilities - the are showers with hot water and flush toiletes ( I just also slept in the dessert in Morocco and there was nothing of that). You have nice and comfy dininig and chilling area with a great view. Staff was very kind and supportive. Can definitely reccoment this place.

Very nice for a desert trip as it is very secluded and quiet. As we came in the winter it was a bit colder. The days were adequate but the nights were really freezing, even with several thick blankets on top. The food was amazing bet remember that the dinner is 10 JOD per person and they don't necessarily let you know before the end. However, it is worth it 100 times over so go for it! The staff were very helpful with everything! Recommended.

Good place to stay. It got very cold at night (March). Ended up using blankets from empty beds (and I'm not very sensitive with cold nights). Staff was very friendly, one guy a bit pushy to go for expensive tours (the rest wasn't, however). Ended up walking the desert by ourselves. I highly recommended it if you have the experience to do so (to navigate is relatively easy with an offline map (like and gps for example - but take navigation seriously. It is still a remote desert!).

If you are interested in going to Wadi Rum and staying out in the desert on a budget I recommend Arabian Nights! We stayed in the dorm style tent. It was very comfortable, each bed having 1 blanket. We also used our sleeping bags as it got quite cool. Mosquitos weren’t an issue. The common area is fantastic, having a fire at night, loads of games and comfortable seating. The tours were quite pricey, but 1 night here to see the amazing rock formations is perfect!

It’s hard to rate this place as a hostel because it’s more like a complete tour and you don’t spend much time at the camp if you are out doing activities. Amazing setting in the desert surrounded by cliffs. The dinner is expensive but really nice. The full day jeep tour was around $70 USD. Too expensive for what it is. The guides are friendly and they take you to some cool spots, but there’s at least 5 other jeeps with tons of tourists at each stop.
