Only stayed here one night in a private room but could easily have stayed longer. Room was clean and towel included. Kitchen was well equipped. Communal area was large and comfy although it was a very chill atmosphere. There were hammocks in the garden too, would definitely recommend.

Amazing hostel and great value. Spacious rooms which were cleaned every day and a very stylish common area. The garden is beautiful and often has Toucans and Iguanas in the trees. Staff were really helpful and can organise guided tours of the national park/turtles at night for you (cheaper than online). Would 100% recommend for anyone visiting Tortuguero.

We had a great stay here , the staff are outstanding. We were greeted in Pavona and again when we arrived in Tortuguero by staff who directed us to the hostel. Always had someone available to ask questions, book shuttles, or different tours. Rooms were cleaned daily, small space available to lock valuables. Great price.

Helpful staff and fabulous garden with seating, string lights, and hammocks. The staff arranged my transfer and tours via email before I arrived, and the place was kept very clean. Lockable storage cabinets in the dorm room were too small for a backpack, but the room was locked all the time. Would recommend!

It was a very social hostel and I really enjoyed my stay. You can easily walk everywhere. The rooms were nice. The only things to mention is that the lockers weren’t enough and the kitchen was disgusting. Everything else was fine. Rooms were cleaned everyday.

I liked this hostel. Good location for both the town, the beach and the national park. We even saw an iguana in the garden. Very friendly and helpful reception guy. Comfortable rooms. The only problem was the wifi. Not a very strong signal. And not a good atmosphere for meeting people.

    Very Good

I really enjoyed my stay at Aracari, the people who worked there were always very friendly and helpful! They booked me onto the canoe tour (highly recommend) and booked a river taxi too. The rooms were okay, but could do with a renovation! They were clean though, had lockers for your stuff and good ensuite facilities. We also had iguanas and toucans above the communal area so that was brilliant! The hammocks were great too. I think the kitchen could have been better, but was okay. Free coffee!
