The best hostel I’ve been in Costa Rica. It’s really chilly and friendly, especially the pool area and the common area, totally worth it. It’s located on the Fortuna Village, which is beautiful, full of restaurants, supermarkets and the locals are really kind and helpful. While there, we went to the La Fortuna Waterfall and Arenal National Park, which were fantastic, I highly recommend you to visit both of them, although it might be expensive to visit both. Just come to the hostel and enjoy it!!

Stayed in both the dorm and the tent, both were great! Rooms were clean, but in the dorm not every bed has direct access to a plug, so choose wisely - otherwise there’s a big outlet by the lockers. Tent was great but needed a better shared shower area. There’s no kitchen here but the hostel food is cheap and good, and there’s also a soda nearby for cheaper food. Happy hour was awesome and if you do order food definitely check out the specials because they also come with a free drink :)

Was a pretty chill hostel. Staff was helpful the food they serverd there was really good. The pool is was refreshing. The hostel was surprisingly empty? Maybe a slow time. Careful cause the bathroom over flows when the shower is on. Over all I would stay again.

No kitchen, no free breakfast, no free coffee. More of a hotel with shared rooms than a true hostel.

Staff were nice and helpful with booking activities. Annoying that you have to pay for everything with cash to avoid extra fees. No kitchen. Rooms are nice and air conditioned. Shower has hot water. Not too far to walk to shops and the bus stop. Nice common area and pool but not very social still.

Felt very safe as a solo female traveller, lockers available but without locks and I didn’t have my own, my belongings were just in the room and felt secure. Could do with more CCTV to make it that little bit more reassuring though. Pool seemed nice and the bar was pretty cheap however no kitchen for own cooking just a fridge that was kind of dirty. All in all a cool place with a nice vibe, nicely decorated and in a great location.

    Very Good

Pool was super nice, feels pretty resort like. The bar is only open from 5pm to 11pm and food is served limited hours as well, and there’s no kitchen. Beds were fine and a/c on in rooms from 10pm to 10am so the rooms are only sleepable at night. Location is a short walk to the strip so it’s not far to find food or drink but it’s pretty expensive in town (higher than Costa Rica average I found). Hostel was decent overall

    Very Good

This place was OK. The staff were helpful and the facility was well cleaned once a day and they had air conditioning in the room after 10pm. I liked the hammock area as well. Their swim up bar was more of a storage area than anything and they have a very small dirty old fridge to store stuff if absolutely necessary. The down side of this hostel is that there is no kitchen for guests and no towels either. I liked that it was on the edge of town but easy to walk to everything.

Pool was a great addition, they had a nice cheap menu. Felt expensive for what it was. Beds were comfy, rooms had limited sockets and not very spacious if you were sharing with messy people. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
