I just stayed a night. Staff is awesome. The location perfect. No hot water, the room I got has wood windows and they’re broken, so you cannot actually “lock the room”. Lockers are quite small so be aware if you have big luggage, it won’t fit and you’ll have to leave it out in the room. The room I got it was just above the central garden so there were a lot of people making noise until 2 or 3 am. Cool for a night or two but not for a long stay. Good for the price, I got what I paid and expected.

Hostel is nice and by all signs should be a place to meet people, but it was very quiet and hard to get acquainted. Shower in room never worked, aircon was broken but was not very hot so was okay. Anytime u leave the room - never leave valuables, only locker or take it with you. And never give ur phone to anybody under any excuse, even to use it as a flashlight in front of you

A little noisy around the rooms and is an old building so the bathrooms are ugly. But a nice place to stay.

Our room was at the top floor next to the lift, that made noise EVERY time it was used. The hostel is in need of a refurb. Pretty grim.. The beer garden was closed so no atmosphere. Great location, but not a place to chill or make friends.

Oddly enough, the day-long power outage was a bonus as the hostel was quiet and permitted a good night's sleep. Otherwise, Art Factory is nothing special. And I'm puzzled why the Palermo neighbourhood gets rave reviews.

The hostel is just ok, staff ok, tiny ugly rooms and nasty bathrooms. They say they have a bar (beer garden) but they closed it a month ago. We arrived and there was no bar.
