I really enjoyed this place. It was very close to the main temple in Asakusa and the markets. The capsule itself was clean and comfy and had everything you needed. The only thing was the TV in the capsule was quite bulky, and I am quite a tall person which meant I hit my head a fair bit. It felt incredibly private while retaining the price of a hostel. Loved it.

Fantastic Hostel! The owner/manager Mark really went out of his way to be helpful, giving us recommendations and printing tickets. The location is great (the walk from the station isn't far if you cut through the shrine grounds), the rooms are clean and include some nice touches and the price is right :) would definitely recommend staying here.

This was my first experience with a Japanese-style capsule and I LOVED it! The front desk staff were incredibly patient and spent as much time with us as we needed while describing the facilities and layout of the hostel. Each capsule was provided with a lockable locker right next to your capsule. The other guests were respectful and quiet. Linens and towels provided were clean, fresh, and adequate in size. The shower room and toilets were clean. Overall the hostel was tidy and well kept.

I loved sleeping in a capsule. Plenty of room to sit up and read or watch the little television inside it. There was also a shelf to put things on and hooks all around. You receive a robe and slippers to use and a locker to store your valuables. The staff spoke enough English to assist you. The location was OK, about a 10 minute walk to public transportation. The only negative was that there were no private individual showers. There is just one large room with shower heads.

The hostel was very comfortable. Staff spoke English acceptably. I stayed in a double bed room with a floor covered in tatami. I didn't know that the smell of the tatami would stay in our clothing. That aside, the room had the mattresses on the tatami floor and it was comfortable, duvets were provided. We had an en suite bathroom and it was clean on the second day of our stay (total 3). Staff was always very helpful when asking a diversity of questions regarding the hostel and Japanese culture.

You stay in weird capsules that look like incubators, and might as well feel like them because they get super hot!! Otherwise facilities are super clean and safe - there's a nice sauna to use after a long day of walking. Warning: Google Maps will direct you ACROSS THE STREET from the actual hostel, made it kind of hard to find at first.

No fuss, simple place with a comfortable room anc privacy. Located behind the main Asakusa temple, not the best trek with baggage as the area is crowded. Good place to touch down and rest

This hostel seems more fitting for Japanese citizens than travelers from abroad. The location is wayyy too far, you have to walk through Sensoji temple every time for the closest subway station (~15 min walk). The room only had Japanese style beds which is not very comfortable. Our room for 2 was also super cramped with very little room for movement. Lastly, our room stunk so bad! We could never find the reason for the smell but it was very strong everytime we stepped inside.
