My stay at the Astor Victoria was great! It's very near the coach station and you can walk to the rest of central London from there. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff was very helpful and they let us leave our luggage there after checkout to go and have fun for the rest of the day. Would definitely go again.

My stay at Astor Victoria was very comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and the facilities were comfortable. The only issue I had was that the shower in my room did not get hot at all, which sucked because it was pretty cold outside. Other than that my stay was good.

The receptionist and staff was very nice, helping me with my luggage. There was a lot of noise, i didnt sleep because i can hear, from my room, every step from the outside. Seems like there is papper instead of walls.

8 bed en-suite only had shower and sink in room with toilet outside of room. Doors are extremely loud when closed so any activity at night was very disruptive. Staff were helpful and friendly Breakfast was good Location is excellent for the price

    Very Good

Overall great hostel :) I had an issue with the toilets though. One was very dirty on my arrival day, and another was blocked when I needed to use it. I know this comes down to the people staying at the hostel, not the hostel themselves but just to let you know.

Negative: The rooms were extremely dirty, garbage everywhere from who know who. They don't clean the rooms you could see the dust and hair from several days or weeks. Good: bathrooms and showers are clean. Excellent location to move to anywhere. The breakfast is 1 pound or you have 2 kitchens to cook

The description did not match reality at all. There was one tiny toilet per 8 bunks and a separate equally tiny shower per 8 bunks. The whole facility had a musky smell and feel. The breakfast isn't anything special, just cereal, coffee/tea, and some toast. The lockers provided are only big enough to fit a few electronics and small valuables, don't intend to leave your backpack locked in the lockers. The staff was nice though and the location is convenient to Victoria Station and restaurants.

Although this hostel is serviceable and in a good location, it otherwise fails to live up to expectations. The pictures on the website are severely out of date It is old, worn down, feels filthy, and in desperate need renovation. Full hotels offering better rooms and amenities just down the street offer rooms for significantly less — this hostel is overpriced. And bewilderingly, the water in this hostel in central London is non-potable, which is highly worrisome.
