No complaints! Comfortable and nicely laid out bedrooms for the quantity of beds (hello triple bunks) with lockers and nice bathrooms. Laundry was a plus and the building itself was old and lovely. Great value for money would 100% stay again!

El mejor lugar para hospedarse, economico, centrico y el servicio genial, las dos veces que me he hospedado ha sido genial, anectdota; olvide mi telefono en la noche y por la mañana me lo regresaron, son muy honestos. Recomendado al 100%

Even if I hardly talked to people like in the two hostels that I stayed at prior to Montreal, I felt a great vibe from this one just from its facade (makes you completely feel like you're in Europe) and common area layout. Upon entering you'll be greeted by dining tables, the kitchen, reception area, shoe racks, open cabinets for winter coats, and the most cozy living room. The people at the front desk were so pleasant and the coin-operated washing machine and dryer were so nifty.

Amazing location! In walking distance to everything, plenty of street parking and garages near by. Super cute and clean hostel. Felt like a historic mansion. The rooms are on the smaller side and got kind of hot (we had to sleep with the windows open to cool the room down). But over all great value for money and enjoyable to stay in.

    Fabulous

Best parts: - Super lovely, friendly staff - Gorgeous building in a great location - Big kitchen, common area, etc. - Clean restrooms and showers Not great parts: - There was almost always a loud TV on in the common space. It was kinda headache inducing when I came home after a long day and just wanted to chill and get to know people - Flimsy blankets. Sometimes the room was very hot and stuffy or perfect. But when it was perfect, the blankets weren't enough.

If you are looking to meet new people and socialize, this is not the place. Best for if you want to mind your own business. Most of the people staying there were staff/student staff so they mainly kept to their group. Facilities were very clean all the time. Bathrooms and showers are not very private but that’s just the nature of hostels. Breakfast is bagels and toast. They have food storage space for guests but I bought a big pack of dumplings but someone either threw them away or ate them.

    Good

Hostel was conveniently located in downtown Montreal. I wouldn’t recommend choosing the dorm style rooms if you actually need/want to sleep (there were 5, three-tier bunk beds & very inconsiderate people making lots of noise past midnight on a Tuesday). Also, I forgot some clothing in the shower room, and when I returned a couple hours later someone had taken them.
