THE MOST HELPFUL PEOPLE IN SRI LANKA We were amazed by our stay here. Very kind people made us tea on arrival to make us feel at home. Any problems they had they solved for us and they have the most amazing dog who is so friendly and loves cuddles! Would definatly come back here.

Best stay I ever had! It’s i quiet place closed to the beach. You get your own house with an terrace and it’s look like a little jungle. When we arrived the host brought us tee, cracker and had a little chat. We felt at home from the first second. If you want you can get a huge delicious breakfast for small money. Also in Sri Lanka Style if you want. Finally to say the family is so friendly and funny. We enjoyed our time here so much! Thank you so much!!!

I enjoyed my stay here and Ayesha and her husband were extremely welcoming and helpful. Walk-able to the beach, and a nice garden terrace area to sit in. Maybe best for groups or if you are with travelling companions, but otherwise Hikkaduwa is not too far away in a tuk tuk.

Definitely a guesthouse as opposed to a hostel! But amazingly cheap for what it was, barely spent any more than a hostel and had a double bed and huge room with ensuite to myself. Had a wonderful few days here tucked away in the jungle on the outskirts of Hikkaduwa, surfing, watching the wildlife (lots of shy monkeys explore the area) and generally relaxing!

You have your own little house but the host was waiting outside the door for me just about every time I went out. Power was out all day and WiFi didn’t work “cause it was the end of the month” then he charged me for the ride he offered down the street to the train station. No ac. Fan is lame and placed under the only light so it’s like a strobe if you have both on. Terrible water pressure too and one outlet.
