Property Description

B & B Al Saor is a family-managed place that gives you the possibility to stay in the core of Venice by Rialto Bridge and near to Saint Mark's Square, the historical and cultural centre of the city.

Our B & B offers guests a chance to stay in a characteristic Venetian house (known as a Ca'), finely restored and decorated by a local artist in the style of the old Venetian Republic.

We are located close to Ca d' Oro one of the ancient beautiful palaces of the Dogi and across the Grand Canal from the famous Rialto fish and spices market. It is excellent just to lose yourself in Venetian streets and discover the silence and the poetry of a unique city.

The rooms were completely restored in June 2003, and are air conditioned. Some rooms have a fully equipped kitchen giving our guests an economical option for eating in at any time.
Most of the rooms have en suite bathrooms which are decorated with beautiful mirrors and lamps from Murano.

Weather permitting, breakfast will be served surrounded by flowers on our terrace, in a relaxing atmosphere, between 8.30am and 10am where, if you want, you can just rest and maybe read a book.

We have received communication from the City of Venice Municipality , that from 24 August, will apply the city tax. the price is 3 euros per night per person View House Rules

WOW!! My mom and I traveled around Italy for a month and this B&B was absolutely our best stay. Elio made sure to keep in contact, the breakfast was delicious, the place was clean and central, and the staff was so willing to help! We had the absolutely BEST stay here. We would recommend this to anyone traveling to Venice!!!! I would give this stay a 12/10 if I could! Everyone went above and beyond for us...

We had a great time at Al Saor! The complimentary breakfast was tasy and our private apartment was clean and comfortable. We were placed the street over from the actual B&B, but it wasn't far and was a quick walk. The staff were lovely and incredibly helpful the whole time. The one thing that was a bit annoying was that the WIFI in the room did not work very well and the small router in the room was super inconsistent. However, this was only a small issue, since everything else was great!

What an amazing place to stay! Its a very central location, without being on the dreaded San Marco main island full of noise and tourists. The rooms are clean and have all of the essentials. Susan is extremely friendly and cooked us a brilliant breakfast - including an omelette! Fantastic value, great location, we could 'self check in' after midnight and we could even leave our bags for the day after checking out. I can't recommend this place enough!

Rooms are small but decent. The breakfast they make you in the morning is amazing. One of the best omelettes I have ever had out on the terrace. That along pretty much justifies the summer prices.

We stayed in a beautiful room here on a gentle quiet Venetian street. The location is only a block from the main walking thoroughfare down to main attractions but outside was always quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable bed, and the breakfast is fantastic for both its quality and its setting in the courtyard. The internet doesn't reach the tops rooms very well but was good quality not downstairs. The host are very generous and kind.

Check in experience was great. Very secure. I think we were the only people staying at the time meaning the shared bathroom wasn't an issue and the room was very clean! The location was good about a 20 minute walk to most attractions and close to the train station and a few good restaurants right on the front doorstep and a bar across the road. Thank you very much for having us :)

Lovely place, got the ensuite double bed. Very comfy bed, had a good night's sleep. But the room was a bit cramped, it was hard to manoeuvre my luggage bags around. Also, it was located in a Calle (an alley) a bit off the main street, which can feel a bit dodgy at night. Breakfast was awesome, with numerous breads, refills of coffee and juice + fresh omelette. Would recommend when on a budget as a good alternative to a pricy Venetian hotel.
