The staff are great! It’s in the middle of the Old Quarter and there are so many things nearby. My only complaints is that the dorm room bed was very thin and stiff. Otherwise, it was a fantastic stay.

The only problem was that the room I was in was stuffy and had a little bit of that hostel odor. Bathrooms were clean, staff were friendly. Not a bad stay.

It was very central right in the middle of the old quarter and right by the lake and very easy to get to places. The owner was very willing to help us to get to places, and organised us a bus to halong. The hostel was clean and quiet even though it was on the strip where everyone goes out of an evening we couldn’t have asked for a better place for a first hostel.

Such a great stay here! The nicest staff we’ve had in Vietnam. Great location, clean comfortable rooms (huge beds in the private rooms), and good shared bathrooms. Nice extra touches like tea and candies in the rooms along with a bean bag chair and big TV. Within walking distance to everything in the Old Quarter. Not much of a social vibe (except with the staff, they’re great!) but it’s not necessary when it’s this peaceful and pretty.

Great place to stay, excellent value for money and very comfortable and modern. The only minus is that the guy tried to rip us off alittle with our bus tickets. We went across the street to another hotel and got quoted atleast 100-200 baht less for the same trip that also included a pick up where his didnt.

Good location in old quarter. However it’s a very small hostel and there wasn’t an opportunity to meet anyone there. The staff were very helpful with booking and advice, but not all of them have English so they often call an English speaker to talk to you. The bathroom was sufficient, but could have been cleaner and nicer.

    Very Good

Unfortunately through an error the hostel was told we were 2 females when in fact we were 1 male, 1 female so they 'upgraded' us from a mixed dorm to the female dorm, without asking us. When we checked in - we ended up in separate rooms - 3 floors apart. Not ideal! Bring your own padlock for the lockers. Privacy curtain around bed was a plus. Found tours cheaper elsewhere than what they were offering. Overall did not enjoy our stay - left after 1 night.

Very helpful staff and location is great for old quarter. But the room I was in did not look like the pictures, the beds and rooms are in need of an update. The room was also a lot smaller than expected, the bunks are very close together. The air con is only a fan which did very little to cool the room.
