About
Babila Hostel & Bistrot is an unique design hostel in the heart of Milan. The historical building that gives home to it was built in 1896 and had been a catholic school for a long time. The hostel was inaugurated on September 15th 2017 and it is located in the fashion district of Milan, walking distance from San Babila square and subway station, buses and trams.
The idea of our design is mixing old and new, traditional and fashionable to bring past and present closer, keeping the original characteristics of the building with a modern touch.
Our rooms are bright and spacious, each of them featuring an ensuite bathroom with shower, equipped with soap and shampoo. Each bed has its own lamp, socket with usb adapter and locker.Bed sheets are provided by us. Towels are available for 2 Eur each. Our breakfast buffet is available for 6.90 euros per person per day.
If you have booked a double room or a Family Room, towels and breakfast are included in the price.
From the terrace at the third floor it is possible to enjoy the view over the rooftops of Milan.
In our Bar & Bistrot area you can try some traditional Italian dishes and our chef specialties. Every week, we organize concerts, jam sessions, art exhibitions and multicultural gatherings, so you can enjoy the party with your new friends and with locals from Milan. From the first day we wanted to create a place where it is possible to breathe an international atmosphere, where people can get connected through cultural exchanges, and enjoy the pleasure to be together with no barriers.
We care about our planet and try to be green as much as possible. We are only one drop in the sea, but we believe that a lot of drops together can make the difference. Based on this, we do not use straws in the bar, bathrooms are equipped with dispensers so to reduce disposable packaging, we put a lot of attention on selective waste collection, we provide a digital map designed by us to avoid paper waste and we choose partners and suppliers who share our same values and mission.
