You will probably not get a better view from a a hostel for that price than this. There was some confusion on the payment, but other than that- the staff attended me well. The atmosphere was good. The wifi was terrible. Wifi would work for 15 minutes and then drop. Both networks dropped. Its a ahout 30 minute walk from center of the city. But you have the lagoon and all its beauty at your doorstep. Memorizing spot to see the colors of the water.

I went with my family we stayed in their private cabin and it was really nice. Although it didn't have air-conditioning we slept very well, the cabin has fans for each bed, we had our own shower and we were surrounded by nature and a few steps down we had the lagoon all to ourselves. It was a nice experience staying here. I really do recommend.

Stayed in a private room with my girlfriend. Really chill hostel. Paddle board & kayaks available for renr. Rented a 2 person kayak for $200 pesos for 2 hours & explored the lagoon. Not much else to do other than relax by the lagoon & explore. No bar, no restaurant, bring all your drinks/food. There is a burger place across the street. You're not very close to town Amazing view with a private balcony on the lagoon. Had a private bathroom & shower. No locker in the room but had a locked door.

    Very Good

Security: There aren’t any lockers. The gate/house/rooms are pretty much open all the time. My room was switched unexpectedly, so after a day trip, I came back to find that all of my belongings had been removed from my original room and just set in the hall :/ Cleanliness: The rooms are clean but my 2nd one had a bad smell (like sewage). Other: Not every bathroom has a mirror. There aren’t many electrical outlets and they don’t hold plugs well. There was no hot water the whole time I was there.

    Very Good

It's a good place to stay if you are young (18 to 26). The bathroom could have been in better conditions, since there is no curtain between the toilet and the shower, and the "two bed room" is actually a one bed room with a sofa. So be careful when booking.

Great location right on the lagoon. They operate a tour of the lagoon with Amir AdvenTures from the property which is handy. Personally I was not comfortable without a locker and no lock on door into room. The 4 fans in room unfortunately were ineffective and you are unable to open the door which would let air in as it is right next to the street and anyone could enter the room. Nice for a couple but as a solo traveler I felt like I was staying in someone’s house by mistake.

Regarding the price it really is a joke. The beds aren‘t good, there‘s no lockers, it‘s not very clean, it constantly stank in the dorm and the ‚breakfast‘ was a cup of coffee and two slides of toast. What is worse is that it is really far from the center, so that there‘s no possibilty to buy water or food in walking distance; taxis rarely pass there and the hostel doesn‘t lend bikes. Also since there live a lot of dogs and cats, I saw some sh*t in the garden, which isn‘t that nice for a guest.

While this hostel has a nice garden part and a nice access to the lake for me as a solo traveler it was not a good choice. My main issue was that no other travelers really were in the hostel. And as it is quite far from the central plaza, it feels really lonely. I was alone in the dorm, but I do know that few other travelers were staying in the house. But as I said, it does not really feel like a hostel to me. The room to the dorm cannot be locked, breakfast poor, staff is occupied with themse

Miserable room, small, and congested; smelled like bathroom. It is used as a reception, hostel storage, AND housing the staff and customers. No AC, just a few fans.Unbearingly hot.Had to sleep in the hammock outside.Dirty bathroom, had to use the showers in the garden. No centralized check-in system, record-keeping, or cross-communication among the staff.FALSE ADVERTISING.Services listed here were unavailable (No breakfast, living room, balcony, kitchen).Avoid this place, practically not a hostel

I reserved a bed in the dorm online and got the confirmation of the reservation but as soon as I arrived (very exhausted after a 17 hours bus trip) the reception told me that they are overbooked and there was no more space. I read this in the feedback before but didn t believe it would happen again. The hostel definitely knows that this happens more often and don t seem to do anything about it. At least they tried to help me to find another place and offered me to use their kajak for free.
