This hostel is close to the street but not right on it. The taxi knew where it was and dropped me at the entrance to the street that goes to the hostel(200meters). That is right in the Medina. The breakfast is very good compared to other hostels. Egg, bread, peanut butter, jelly etc. It is a small, intimate area in an old building with room for about 16 guests in 4 rooms. The staff are very accommodating and the vibe is congenial. I would stay here again if I return to Fes. wifi is good.

Sincerly the best hostel i’ve stayed in morrocco! Mouhad really cares and make it feel like home. He actually makes tea and food at night and in the morning which brings everybody together, is the best source of info for fes and will help planning your trip. He booked a perfect desert tour for me with a hotel right by the dunes, transportation during the day, good food and activies over there for a really good price, you should book it with him if you can! Would recommend this hostel to anybody!

This hostel is just so so good, it's hard to live when the time comes! The place is nice, quiet and clean, but the two guys working in it, Andre and Mouad, are just the best, always making you feel welcome and like family. The other travelers I met here were wonderful persons as well! ♥️

I really enjoyed my stay at BackHome Fes. Mouad was incredible kind! He went out of his way to make sure my stay was comfortable. It’s also very close to things, but far enough away where your not directly in the hustle and bustle. Wifi was great, hot strong showers, and it was clean (Fatima does a solid in that part). Would 100% recommend and go back.

A superbly located, easy going hostel that ticks all the boxes. Right next to Blue Gate and with lots of restaraunt and amenities local. Owner is a cool guy and will arrange excursions such as Sahara tour, Chefchaouen visits, or local hammam etc if you need. Breakfast included as well as free food on 3x nights of the week: Monday tagine, Wednesday Moroccan soup, and Friday couscous (for lunch). Recommend 100%!
