When you’re not lazing the day away in a hammock or knocking around on the table tennis, grab a free bodyboard and hit the waves. But not before you’ve had your free breakfast in our sunny central courtyard. For a cup of proper barista-made coffee, head to our Paradise Café. Or slip into the Jacuzzi for some serious relaxation!

You’ll find us right in fun, buzzing Surfers Paradise. Can’t wait to get in the water? Surfers Paradise Beach is only 9 minutes’ walk away. If you fancy ticking some culture highlights off your list, stroll 12 minutes to the Skypoint Observation Deck to get those all-important views (and Instagram shots). Roaming off the beaten path? Hop on the bus at the Surfers Paradise station to go further afield. The Light Rail at Cavill Avenue (seven minutes away) will take you to Gold Coast Airport in under an hour with only one change.

Brilliant backpackers! Not too busy! Love the pool and also the onsite cafe and free breakfast is a perfect touch! I got myself a big breakfast one day and it only cost $9 bargain! Would 100% book again!

The hostel has good location but the kitchen close so early and is too small for cooking. Also we found cockroaches in the room.

Staff were great, really friendly. It is no BYO as there is a bar and cafe. Plenty of outdoor space and activities to use so great for solo travellers to meet people and get comfortable.

For the price it's a great deal. If youre not picky its good for a night but definatly not long term. Pool is nice, bar and cheap resturant. The staff are really relatable since they are mostly travelers or WHV. They live in the shared rooms working for accom and have seperate jobs they go to in the morning or evening. They do their best work and have fun it seems.Bathrooms are few and theres nowhere to be alone if you're looking for privacy. All the couches and comfort area are outdoors.

Room door didn’t lock, so was scared that someone would steal something, but there was good sized (not big enough for backpack) lockers inside the rooms. Kitchen was BAD - only had like four plates and what felt like three forks. Stayed in 20 p dorm which wasn’t as bad as expected - was fully booked but room was spacious and didn’t feel crowded. The common eating area smelt like puke all the time, and music was pretty loud but they didn’t play music late. Overall alright for a 2 nighter.

Free breakfast and you can buy cooked breakfast bits cheap. Beds werent very comfy but rooms were decent with mirrors outside of the bathroom so theres room for everyone. Like lots of hostels you cant BYO booze but the staff here were a bit OTT with going thro the dorms and even peoples rucksacks to check!

The rooms were very basic, there was only 1 desktop sized fan for 4 people and it was broken anyway. Only two powerpoints in the room, both of which weren't anywhere near the beds or the bathroom. Very beach chilled vibe though which was nice, pretty good location.

Very unclean hostel, flys and pigeons in kitchen and bins constantly overflowing. Rooms very dirty, had to make own bed and mattresses were filthy. If you’re here short term don’t stay as a lot of people are staying longer term and therefore room is inundated with an excessive amount of luggage. Not enough lockers per bed. Staff weren’t very welcoming, we weren’t informed about activities until 10 minutes before they were leaving.

Hostel in general was very dirty, birds in the kitchen, and bugs in our room. The room itself was very simplistic, shower was disappointing and didn’t have a light in our bathroom. The reps were very single minded and party orientated (didn’t know how to chill). Music in evening/early morning was very inconsiderate. Pool was murky and ‘spa’ was non existent. When we checked our reception wasn’t open despite the opening hours being 8am and ‘free breakfast’ wasn’t provided on time. WiFi very slow.

first of all: beside the reservation fee, the full costs were charged the same day, i made the booking (2 weeks before my arrivel). the staff is just not motivated, not for the cleaning, not for any service (bar, travel-desk, rental). closing hours were likely earlier than by the time it should. my feeling looks like the management is only interested by making money. Breakfast without any drink is for myself (ex hostel manager) a no-go, the pricing to high. the tables would need a carpenter.
